This weekend we had some multiple events in the city, so it was like something for everyone to do as per their liking. Muscat is a small city with a population of around 1.7 million and it is one of the major cities of Oman and also the Capital. Most of the population of the Country is centered in this city and even the major business set up of the whole country is in this place. So, whatever happens, it is all here in this city.

Over the weekend one of the days we visited the Night Bazaar which I wrote about yesterday and then one of the days we visited this Food Fest which is the Muscat Eats event. This venue of this event was far from my place. When I say far in the city, nothing takes more then half an hour. From one end of the main city to another we can drive in around 45 minutes max, it is just around 35 kms road and that's it.

Coming back to the Food Fest, when we reached there we had some hassles with the parking because it looked like the whole of city had come for the fest. There were volunteers who were guiding people for parking and he was guiding us to park in a direction from where it was a long walk, so I was already in contemplation if to go or not, but then hubby requested him politely and somehow he agreed to let us go and park the car right near the entrance.

Every year this Fest happens but it used to be at a much smaller scale. This time the venue is also different which is a bigger place and the whole event was organized in a very large and grand manner, with just not the food, but games, show and a lot of other entertainment.

There was ample of seating arrangements made but still we had a challenge in getting a place. After almost half and hour of hunt we managed to find a table for us.

I did try out a couple of foods, met many known people and it was a nice fun filled and entertaining evening for me and my friends.
