Guess what? Over the weekend it rained and let me tell you, it's a very big thing here in Muscat when it rains. Because it rains only 2 or 3 days in a year, so when it does, I always like to spend my time outdoors. When it rained, I was at the mall and I was not even aware. When I got out of the mall, I saw the roads were wet and the weather had changed. It was breezy and so very pleasant. From the mall only I called up hubby and told him that once I am home, we will leave again and go to the beach to spend the rest of the evening.
When we reached the beach, it again started drizzling, I was not bothered about that, rather I was enjoying it. It was just a drizzle and not a heavy rainfall so I could still comfortably take my walk at the beach. The beach was moderately crowded, a lot of people were fishing. This was on Friday evening; it was the night before the full moon so the high energies of the moon were felt while I was taking walk at the beach.
It was low tide and water was calm, I was feeling very peaceful taking the walk there. It was around half an hour that I spent at the beach and I wanted to spend more time but then after a while the rain increased and I had to get into the shade.
It's a clear sand beach, walking bare foot is something you really enjoy at this beach.
The Airport is very near to this beach and almost every 5 minutes there is an aircraft flying over the head.
There are Water bikes parked here, which are used during the day as one of the water sports activities at this beach.
There is a car also, I am confused why it's parked like that.
Anyways I am enjoying soaking up my feet
Enjoying the sound of the calm waves, it's a beautiful music to the ears.
After the walk we went to these food stalls where they are preparing fresh grilled foods. I enjoy these foods. It's plain grilled meat and I find it healthier than other foods.
2 Chicken skewers to relish on
After the rains, the weather has been very nice and pleasant, it gets breezy. Finally, what we have been waiting for after months of heat. This time the winter has set late. Normally the weather gets better by 2nd week of October, but this time it's almost towards the end of the month. It was a nice, peaceful and a very relaxed evening.

Oe I totally get it walking outdoors when the temperature is so high over there. The water looks fantastic and Im hungry from the skewers haha.
One day I will sail a boat towards there!

Will people be actually living around the beach?
People live very close to the beach here, there are many cottages whose back side area opens up to these beaches.
I'm surprised that you people only experience the rain twice or thrice in a year. That's amazing
It rains over a hundred days here in my country
In India also we have abundant rainfall, but here in Muscat it barely rains, even if it does it's not a very heavy shower and it's for very little time

2-3 days in a year??
it's impossible to grow anything with such a dry climate. How do people managed to develop nature and plants there?
Yes my dear only 2-3 days in Muscat. In the interiors there is a little more rainfall but not enough to grow crops. Farming is very little, many people in the interiors have their private farms where they have the water system installed for the plants. You will see a lot of dry land in this place. Majority of the food here comes from neighboring countries
