This day so far has been quite casual and I can't particularly lay my hands on the exact reason for that. What I know is that the weekend as a whole has been interesting in some ways and daunting in some other ways. It didn't take much thinking to figure out that my mind has been fighting a lot of battles. It feels like I'm about to get into a new phase of my life from this new week and I'm trying as much as I possibly can to make sure that I'm mentally prepared for it.

You see, I spent this morning in Church. I attended 9 a.m. mass and I'm already in the habit of showing up earlier for any event or meeting. I got there when the first Mass was still on and waited outside for a few minutes before the first Mass got wrapped. While I moved inside waiting for the 9 a.m. mass to start, I spent that moment meditating upon the scriptures.

Ironically, the Mass wasn't the most enjoyable. It was said in Yoruba and I can't even speak the language to save myself. I also don't understand it. Haha. I just sat there, trying as much as possible to be part of what was going on. Well, it was still a good experience.

I came back home by noon and decided to prepare a sumptuous tomato stew which I ate with white rice. I needed that because my meal for most of the week wasn't fair at all. This new week seems like the kinda week where I won't even have the time to do stuff in the kitchen. That's why I decided to prepare a proper meal today.

The rest of the day has been quite inspiring; a few quality phone calls, doing a couple of research, prepping for the new week and... Let's see how the week will unfold.

Today has surely been a casual day. However, it's still sublime. Hehe.
