Coffee and healing: therapy that nourishes the soul

A few weeks ago, I was in my gray days, I was seized by insomnia, apathy, listlessness, uncertainty, stress, I hardly ate, I kept myself with a few cups of coffee a day, I simply fell into a depression apparently without cause, but I knew I had to learn to let go again, I had to let go, what is not part of me, what did not make me feel comfortable. I began a process of inner healing, to find that something that made me uncomfortable, meditation with my inner self, helped me a lot.

Part of this progress came from the moment I woke up, with my morning meditation, the art of making coffee, which brings an endless amount of sacred magic. For those of us who appreciate this symbol of awakening the soul, just by smelling it, it brings us a lot of inner peace. I let my thoughts flow, without questioning myself, each sip was fuel for my soul to find serenity and calm.

For a long time, I have been valuing my ritual every day, which means for me to elevate my feelings, emotions and spirituality. It is a meeting with myself, before waking up my guests; and after that comes the second cup and the others that I drink along the way of the day
.

Today I woke up very cheerful and since I started the art of making coffee, this magic enveloped me during the course of the day, I got creative and felt that I had to prepare something wonderful, my mind clicked and the idea flowed, I let myself go. In the afternoon, I gathered all the necessary ingredients, I wanted my loves to taste this delight.

After having my freshly brewed pure coffee, my first test was with my Jumbo cup, I placed at the bottom a generous portion of condensed milk, with the help of a spoon, spread melted chocolate on the walls of my cup, finally, I slowly added the coffee, the layers that were observed were wonderful, but the real magic, was when I stirred with a spoon until I integrated the coffee with the condensed milk and part of the chocolate present on the walls of the cup, the mixture became a chocolate color, when I tasted it, the glory was present, the explosion of flavors was unmatched, each coffee and its combination is unique, it leaves a mark in your soul, the sensation says it all, they are like patterns that the soul recognizes and accepts it as part of its well being.

I continued the preparation for all my children and husband, my children although they were not at home, I left it reserved for them, when I gave it to my husband to taste, his face reflected joy full of satisfaction, until it came out of his mouth it was incredible, I humbly told him, it is not so much, but I knew deep down that this mixture was quite good, my taste buds were feasting on flavors and I was grateful for it deep down. I had to leave the house for errands and when I arrived after a while, the comments of the other members flattered me, they were fascinated with this preparation, I committed myself to make it more often.

This is really the incalculable value, that makes us appreciate life, a cup of coffee, capable of strengthening unbreakable bonds, uniting us through love, it is the only feeling capable of changing our world, as long as I can I will continue to change my world around me and to cheer smiles in my loved ones.
