Discovering new coffee shop and renewing drivers license before our birthdays.
Hello, my friends and fellow coffee lovers! I am thrilled to share my coffee discovery from February 25. My sister and I had scheduled to renew our driving licenses at LTO Limketkai in CDO. We chose this branch because we have a friend who helped us process our documents and renew our licenses quickly. As part of the renewal process, we needed to undergo a medical examination and take the LTO renewal exam.
It took us an hour to complete everything, leaving us with some free time to explore the mall. As we walked around, I caught the aroma of coffee and was curious to find its source. I spotted a green stall and decided to check it out. I was amazed by how cute the stall was! The coffee shop is called PickUp Coffee, and its logo is unique, with calming colors. To my surprise, the coffee prices started at an incredibly low rate.
My sister chose the drinks, opting for one iced matcha and one hot matcha. We only paid 3.4 HBD for both drinks, which left me astonished. I waited for our drinks and they served it immediately. And the cashier is very friendly, too.
I took my first sip of the hot matcha, and it did not disappoint—it was perfect! Not too sweet and not too bitter, it hit all the right notes for me. I think I’m going to love this coffee shop.
They offer a variety of drinks, including matcha, fruit teas, espresso-based signatures, and more. They also have a selection of sandwiches. I noticed many people stopped by to order their favorite coffees. That day was special for me because it was a rare chance to spend time with my busy sister. We don't often get the opportunity to connect due to our commitments, so we cherished this time to chat and catch up.
During our matcha moments, we shared laughs about our new driver's licenses, joking about how awful our pictures turned out. The staff member who took our pictures was quite grumpy, so we didn’t have the courage to ask for a retake. We were also delighted to learn that our driver’s licenses would be valid for ten years.
As we looked at the time, my sister realized it was almost 2:00 PM, and she needed to pick up her two kids from school. We hugged goodbye, feeling grateful for the time we spent together. I did it to take a picture of our driver's licenses as they contain confidential information and we want to keep it private.

Sounds like a productive and fun day! Indeed, no one can say no to an invitation made with coffee aroma. A great cup of matcha, sisterly love, great catch-up conversation, and a welcoming coffee shop seem a nice way to end the license renewal bouts.
