Café Les Hidden Dutch-Style Windmill Spot Where Mountain Views Meet Golden Brews and Ocean-Blue Sips

I first found it by accident actually. I was driving down this quiet road lined with palm trees and potted flowers with a hazy mountain peeking in the distance like a friendly giant keeping watch over the area. The road looks pretty ordinary at first glance a bit dusty a few bikes parked by the side locals going about their day with easy smiles but then boom… there it is, rising up from all the greenery a bright red brick windmill with huge wooden blades stretching out against the cloudy sky

You can’t miss it the words “CAFÉ LES” are painted bold across the front, and there are these gorgeous red and white flowers climbing all over the entrance like the place is giving you a warm flowery hug before you even walk in. Some of the blooms are so big they practically spill over the small porch railing, and bees buzz around them happily a sure sign everything’s fresh and well loved..

When you get closer you notice the little details the neat green lawn in front that’s kept trim and tidy the white trim around the windows that pops against the red brick and up at the top of the windmill, there’s even a tiny sign for “The View Shop” (though I haven’t checked that out yet next time, maybe!).

The whole setup feels so intentional like someone really wanted to create a spot that’s different from every other coffee shop in the city. It’s not just a place to grab a drink it’s a scene the kind where you automatically pull out your phone to take photos and trust me every angle looks good. Even on a cloudy day the colors pop so much that your pictures still turn out amazing.

Now, let’s talk about the drinks. I went with two orders so my friend and i could share first up was this rich amber colored iced coffee that looked like liquid gold in the glass. It had this thick frothy top that melted into the brew perfectly not too sweet not too bitter just the way good coffee should be. The barista told us they use local beans from somewhere up north and you can taste the difference it’s got this subtle nutty finish that sticks with you.

Then there was this other drink that looked like a mini ocean in a cup layers of bright blue and green with ice clinking around and a straw sticking out like a little sail. It was fruity and refreshing made with some kind of butterfly pea flower mix and citrus perfect for a warm afternoon when you want something that tastes as fun as it looks. The glasses are simple but sturdy, and the wooden tables make you feel like you are sitting in someone’s cozy backyard.

The best part? When you step outside after your drink and look around, you can see why this spot was chosen. Beyond the coffee shop, there are these sprawling gardens with more flowers little benches tucked away under trees and in the distance that same mountain looms large its green slopes glowing when the sun peeks through the clouds. There are also other little buildings nearby with solar panels on their roofs small touches that make you feel like the place cares about more than just looking pretty.

You can see families walking around kids chasing each other on the grass and couples taking selfies by the windmill everyone just seems happy to be there.

I left feeling way more relaxed than when I arrived, and honestly? I’ve already told three of my friends to go check it out. It’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you proud to say it’s right here in our place a little slice of charm that feels both familiar and completely new.. 😊
