Coffe for the booklovers! ☕📚 (Eng-Esp)

I have begun to believe that there are tribes among us. Whenever I meet with a group of people I distinguish that they always have more than one trait in common that identifies them. Then, if you belong to international communities, you realize that there are even traits that transgress geographical barriers and spread all over the world.

For the tribe of book lovers, one of these traits is also to love coffee. It is very rare to find a reader or a writer who abhors this drink. It is as if our ancestors had inherited us the habit of taking it, as if it were something divine.

This kind of thing I was thinking while the Book Club meeting was going on "I read, therefore I exist". As usual we held a meeting to discuss the reading of the month that ended and choose a new reading for the month of May.

While my colleagues were "warming up the engines" to launch their arguments and set up our usual discussion, a round of coffee accompanied by cookies was sliding across the table! We didn't need more fuel than that to start 😂.

And if something led to the meeting starting with such a good vibe, it was to have done it at the "Teresa Melo" bookstore. There is a space there for the workers of the "MonCafé" enterprise who offer a good and affordable variety of gastronomic offers. We, clearly, attack the coffee thermos to assimilate its energy.

He comenzado a creer que existen tribus entre nosotros. Siempre que me reúno con un grupo de personas distingo que siempre tienen más de un rasgo en común que los identifica. Luego, si perteneces a comunidades internacionales, te das cuenta de que incluso hay rasgos que transgreden las barreras geográficas y se extienden por todo el mundo.

Para la tribu de los amantes de los libros, uno de estos rasgos es también amar el café. Es muy raro encontrar un lector o un escritor que aborrezca esta bebida. Es como si nuestros ancestros nos hubiesen heredado la costumbre de tomarlo, como si de algo divino se tratase.

Esta clase de cosas pensaba yo mientras continuaba la reunión del Club de Lectura "Leo, luego existo". Como de costumbre sostuvimos un encuentro para debatir la lectura del mes que terminaba y elegir una nueva lectura para el mes de mayo.

Mientras mis compañeros "calentaban los motores" para lanzar sus argumentos y armar nuestra acostumbrada discusión, se deslizaba por la mesa una ronda de café ¡acompañado de galletitas! No necesitábamos más combustible que ese para arrrancar 😂.

Y si algo propició que la reunión conenzara con tan buena vibra fue haberla hecho en la librería "Teresa Melo". Allí hay un espacio para los trabajadores del emprendimiento "MonCafé" quienes ofertan una buena y adequible variedad de ofertas gastronómicas. Nosotros, claramente, atacamos el termo de café para asimilar su energía.
