Favorite Coffee Review

Some time without posting content in the community of coffee lovers, I was apparently far away, but always thinking and enjoying coffee, also watching from the shadows the publications of many users; but having the opportunity I did not hesitate to share with you a coffee that I recently tasted.

About a week ago my husband sent my son to the nearest store for coffee and sugar. I didn't give it much importance, since I thought he had come home with the coffee we usually buy, but when I drank it I felt a different taste in my mouth, so I asked if it was the coffee we usually drink.

Its name is Favorito and it is part of the Amanecer Group, a Venezuelan company that began selling only Amanecer coffee and now also sells rice, beans, sugar, sardines, pasta and two other coffees that although they belong to the group have different names, among them the one that I share with you here, Favorito, for those who wish to know more about the Amanecer Group here I leave the link to their web page.

Now, the Favorito coffee has a packaging with earth tones, its main color being opaque red, and it carries its name in large white letters, I had seen it on shelves, but being in a not easy economic moment I do not venture to buy a coffee that I do not know, since I am not in the mood to lose money.

As for its aroma, it is not strong, that is, it is not the type of coffee that when uncovered fills the place with its aroma and when I approached the package to perceive its aroma I felt the aroma of somewhat burnt beans, that is, as if in the roasting process they had forgotten that the beans were being roasted. Obviously, we know that this is not the case, since this whole process is carried out in an automated factory (or so I believe) and surely, having several coffee products on the market, Grupo Amanecer has taken advantage of the different types of beans and created the three brands of coffee that they have so far.

As for its color it has a brown tone, neither light nor dark I would say that it is the correct one, but logically, or better said for me, what determines if a coffee will be to our taste is to prepare it and try it, I must say that as I pointed out at the beginning my first tasting of this coffee was by surprise and I realized that it was not the one that I normally buy because besides being softer at the end it has a bitter touch.

I do not know if it is more economical than the coffee that I usually buy, since to date I have not compared prices as far as I remember, but it seems to me that it is a little more economical than the coffee that we usually buy at home.

In conclusion, I can say that the Favorito coffee is somewhat light at the time of drinking, if you are one of those who enjoy coffee even smelling its powder do not expect that, but it will serve you to enjoy a cup of coffee is a good option, perhaps for those who want, like me, a more loaded coffee, the alternative is to add more coffee.

Algún tiempo sin publicar contenido en la comunidad de los amantes del café, estuve aparentemente lejos, pero siempre pensando y disfrutando del café, además viendo desde las sombras las publicaciones de muchos usuarios; pero al tener la oportunidad no dude en compartir con ustedes un café que recientemente probé.

Hace aproximadamente una semana mi esposo envió a mi hijo a la tienda más cercana por café y azúcar. No le di mayor importancia, ya que creí, había llegado a casa con el café que solemos comprar, pero al tomar sentí un sabor diferente en mi boca, por lo que pregunté si era el café que solemos tomar.

Así conocí el café del cual compartiré mi opinión en esta publicación, su nombre es Favorito y forma parte del Grupo Amanecer, una empresa venezolana que comenzó vendiendo solo el café Amanecer y ahora también venden arroz, granos, azúcar, sardinas, pasta y dos cafés más que aunque pertenecen al grupo tienen nombres diferentes, entre ellos el que aquí les comparto Favorito, para quienes deseen conocer más del Grupo Amanecer aquí dejo el enlace de su página.

Ahora bien, el café Favorito posee un empaque con tonos tierra, siendo su principal color el rojo opaco, y lleva su nombre en grandes letras blancas, lo había visto en estanterías, pero al estar en un momento económico nada fácil no me aventuro a comprar un café que no conozca, ya que no estoy para perder dinero.

En cuanto a su aroma, no es fuerte, es decir no es el tipo de café que al destaparlo llena el lugar con su aroma y al acercarme el empaque para percibir su aroma sentí el aroma de granos algo quemados, es decir, como si en el proceso de tostado se les hubiera olvidado que los granos se estaban tostando. Obviamente, sabemos que no es así, pues todo este proceso se lleva a cabo en una fábrica automatizada (o eso creo) y seguramente, al tener varios productos de café en el mercado, el Grupo Amanecer lo que ha hecho es aprovechar los diferentes tipos de grano y crear las tres marcas de café que hasta ahora tienen.

En cuanto a su color el mismo es de tono café, ni claro ni oscuro diría que el correcto, pero lógicamente, o mejor dicho para mí, lo que determina si un café será de nuestro gusto es prepararlo y probarlo, debo decir que como señale al comienzo mi primera cata de este café fue por sorpresa y me percate de que no era el que normalmente compro porque además de ser más suave al final tiene un toque amargo.

Desconozco si es más económico que el café que suelo comprar, ya que hasta la fecha no he comparado precios hasta donde recuerdo, pero me parece que es un poco más económico que el que solemos adquirir en casa.

Terminando, puedo decir que el café Favorito es algo ligero a la hora de la toma, si eres de los que disfruta del café hasta oliendo su polvo de este no esperes eso, pero te servirá para disfrutar de una taza de café es una buena opción, tal vez para quienes desean, como yo, un café más cargado, la alternativa sea agregar más café.
