Hello, coffee friends around the world

Recently, we've talked a lot about what we like about coffee shops: the atmosphere, the design, the comfort, the service, the variety of recipes, etc. And all of that is fine, but personally, there's something about each one that's indescribable... I could say it's something like "the energy" of the place.

I'm referring to those places that, without being the greatest coffee shop in the world, are where you feel the most at home, where you're happy just to walk in. The coffee shop, as I describe it, is Café Real.

Just thinking about going makes me happy. I can already picture my cup of cappuccino from the road.

This coffee shop is where I fell in love with cappuccino. Until I came here, I'd never dared to try anything other than espresso.

I think the pleasant atmosphere, the bartender's extremely friendly and welcoming attitude, and the beautiful and simple design of the place have also contributed to making it my favorite spot of all.

But I've been to more humble cafes and to much more modern ones with the comforts of other countries. However, nowhere else have I had a more delicious cappuccino than at Café Real.

With that alone, I think it wins the competition.

This whole post started with the idea of ​​​​seeing why this coffee shop is my favorite, and although it may not seem like it, it's not because they make the best cappuccino in Cuba. It's something more, or it's the sum of everything mentioned above and all the happy moments I've had there.
I even celebrated my birthday in that coffee shop.

I sat down with my wife to have a couple of cappuccinos each and rejoice at having reached another year, together, happy, healthy, and with coffee. Always with lots of coffee to increase happiness.
Maybe it's because of all of that. I don't know, nor do I care. The important thing is that Café Real is the coffee shop I go to because I'm always happy there.

Hola, amigos del café alrededor del mundo

Recientemente hemos conversado mucho de lo que nos gusta de las cafeterías: el ambiente, el diseño, el confort, el servicio, la variedad de recetas, etc. Y todo eso está bien, pero en lo personal, hay algo que tiene cada una que es indescriptible… podría decir que es algo como “la energía” del lugar.

Me refiero a aquellos sitios que, sin ser la gran cafetería del mundo, es donde mejor te sientes, donde eres feliz solo de entrar. La cafetería, tal y como la describo, es el Café Real.

Es que me hace feliz de solo pensar en que voy a ir. Ya desde el camino visualizo mi taza de capuchino.

Esta cafetería es donde me enamoré del capuchino. Hasta que no llegué aquí, nunca me había atrevido a probar otra cosa que no fuera el café expreso.

Creo que lo agradable del ambiente, el trato amabilísimo y familiar del bartender, lo lindo y sencillo del diseño del lugar, también ha tenido que ver con que sea mi sitio preferido de todos.

Pero he estado en cafeterías más humildes y en otras mucho más modernas y con un confort de otros países. Sin embargo, en ningún otro lado he podido probar un capuchino más delicioso que en el del Café Real.

Solo con eso, creo que gana la competencia.

Todo este post inició con la idea de ver por qué esta cafetería es mi preferida, y aunque no lo parezca, tampoco es porque hagan el mejor capuchino de Cuba. Es algo más, o es la suma de todo lo antes dicho y la de todos los momentos felices que he tenido allí.
Es que hasta celebré mi cumpleaños en aquella cafetería.

Me senté con mi esposa a tomarnos un par de capuchinos cada uno y alegrarnos por haber llegado a otro año más, juntos, felices, con buena salud y con café. Siempre con mucho café para aumentar la felicidad.
Quizás es por todo eso. No sé, ni me preocupa. Lo importante es que el Café Real es la cafetería a la que voy porque siempre soy feliz ahí.
