My Network Nightmares
Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
If I were going to write about how many times the network has disappointed me, I would have written it in different parts, and I am very sure I would get up to part 100 with details of my frustrating, bitter experience.
I have lost count of how many times I have been left stranded because of network issues.
I remember one time I was to travel to a new state to do something important. Since my uncle and his family resided in the city, I decided to stay at his place to cut costs instead of lodging at the hotel.
Before our car took off, I had informed my uncle about it. When we got to the state, I picked up my phone to call my uncle to give me directions to his house, but I kept hearing the number is not reachable. I tried sending a text message, but it didn't deliver.
I was already getting tired and frustrated in the park when some of those guys noticed the frustration on my face and asked what the problem was. I explained to them that I think I was at that park for about an hour.
Some of the boys in the park started making fun of me and saying they had gotten a new wife. I was already asking someone where I would get a hotel that was good and not too expensive before my uncle's call came in. He also said he was trying to reach me but couldn't.
Another incident that happened was when I was still in school. I traveled to Abuja for a program, and when I got there, I spent more than my budget. The money on me wasn't going to be enough to take me back to my destination, so I tried using the ATM, but there wasn't a network. So I tried another one; still no network. I can't count how many ATMs I tried that day, but there wasn't a network. It was getting late, and I was getting frustrated. I remember asking a hotel how much they charge for a night; the amount they told me was more than what was in my account.
By this time I was already getting scared, and different negative thoughts kept running through my head. Then I remembered I had a friend I had not spoken with for more than 3 years; I called her to know if she was still in town. She said yes, and that was how I spent the night at her place.
Or is it the one that just recently happened to me? I don't know if other states in Nigeria are also experiencing the scarcity of cash this December period; the amount this POS guys charges for withdrawal is just too ridiculous.
I went to the market a few days ago to get some stuff with the hope of doing the transfer instead. After gathering all I needed, as I brought out my phone to make payment, I couldn't log into my bank app because of the network; after several trials with no results, I just packed myself up with anger and came back home.
Network issues has dealt with me in ways I can't imagine.

It has also happened to me on several occasions oo
Not only you, everyone has gotten a dose of network issues. It's always frustrating when I have to go through such situations. My two weeks in Ilorin was annoying and unenjoyable because of network issues. Imagine waking up every midnight to do stuff I couldn't do during the day..so frustrating.
I can imagine
It's well jare
