When I saw Digi-Prompts 043 question, I laughed because it is something I once discussed with my friend back then in university.
She shared her preference as well.

Here is the question before you start wondering what I am talking about.

How do you listen?
They are many devices for listening to music. Do you prefer EarPods, wired earpieces, or headphones, or you just like to blast on loudspeaker? Share with us what your listening experience is like.

I would start by emphasising that everyone loves music and music makes people happy.
Music also can be used weather in happy or sad moments, it just depends on how you want the music to lead you.
Though, some say music doesn't need permission to invade someone's spirit.

Generally, it is something people don't underrate or take for granted.
It is enjoyed at every given point.

When it comes to listening to music, I could go for earpod to loudspeakers depending on the mood.

Personally, when I want to enjoy music at my own space and pace, I do quiet private listening.
Which is one I will use my earpod or earphone to listen to.

Especially, when I know they are not popular songs.
Just songs I believe I could enjoy alone without being disturbed to change the song because it doesn't match someone's energy or mood.

Pardon me.
You haven't been in a situation where you are enjoying a particular song that someone else condemns?

I can only change that my private listening attitude, if only I notice you like my kind of songs.

But if they are popular trending songs, then I am your DJ at the moment.
I will blast your ears and move your feet to dancing.
Yes, that's my way of allowing you to enjoy the moment as well.
And it would be boring listening to it alone, especially party songs.

But no matter how i want to blast the music, I consider where and the space I am in.

I can't bring down the roof just because I want others to enjoy the music.

So, no matter what, I still tune down my loudness a bit.
Because the passerby would end up enjoying the music while I feel only the noise.

Yes, I could tell.
And I usually notice this whenever I pass by a place playing loud music.

And I enjoy and smile whenever I pass by a place playing good cool songs.

Fact is most of them create remarkable memories.

I can remember when my room in the hostel was close to a bar and they always play cool songs that we enjoy listening to.

Whenever I hear those songs played then, it would remain me of a particular day.
