Two mushrooms inhabiting oil palm plantations

The last two days it has been raining very heavily in my village, making my hopes of getting mushrooms even greater, and in this post I will share some photos of two mushrooms that I managed to find in a palm oil plantation, two unique mushrooms that have their own beauty and characteristics.
But before that here is my contribution to #FungiFriday curated by @ewkaw

Yesterday, precisely in the morning, I immediately rushed into the palm oil plantation area which was not too far from my house,in my opinion, the morning was the perfect time to look for mushrooms because the surrounding atmosphere was still cold and humid. Heavy rain made the ground very slippery and muddy, but luckily at that time I was wearing mountain boots so it made it easier for me to pass through the slippery roads.

When I arrived at the oil palm plantation, I immediately found lingzhi mushrooms, and it was a discovery and a very satisfying opening. I continued to look for mushrooms under the oil palm trees and under the piles of oil palm leaf sheaths, until finally, behind the dry leaves, I saw a white mushroom growing luxuriantly there.

This mushroom can be found easily when the rainy season arrives, but it is very difficult to find this mushroom during the dry season, and in a pile of oil palm fronds I managed to find this mushroom growing in a very large group.

In this pile we can see these mushrooms ranging from young to old, some of which are even wilted, so this view looks colorful and gives a very beautiful natural impression. I am looking for one of these mushrooms that has a perfect shape.

From within this pile of mushrooms, this is one of the mushrooms that has a pretty perfect shape in my opinion, its shape resembles an elephant's ear but with natural carvings on the inside of the mushroom, its beauty can be seen from a close distance, but if you don't find this mushroom in your area, then you can see it in my post.

Still in the same place, namely under a pile of oil palm fronds, I also managed to find a different mushroom, and the mushroom that I found at first glance does look similar to the previous mushroom, but if we look at this mushroom in more detail, then we will be able to see the differences, starting from the color to the shape, as well as the carvings on this mushroom which look straight when compared to the previous mushroom.

And those are the two types of mushrooms I found yesterday on a palm oil plantation. I'm very happy to have found these two beautiful mushrooms, and I'd be even happier if you all enjoyed the mushrooms I've shared. I'll be wrapping up this post soon, so if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.

See you next time🙏🏻

It's great that you've had rainy days where you live; that's great for mushroom growth.

I also think early morning is the best time to look for mushrooms.

The species you found are beautiful, @maxmarvin.
