If it weren't for certain situations that arise when searching for them, this would eventually become a very boring activity. While the main objective is to find these beautiful specimens, what's exciting is the experience of searching for them. This week, we searched for mushrooms a couple of blocks from my home, and there we came across this curious genus. When identifying them, some doubts arose, so I don't specifically mention the species to which it belongs, only its genus.

A curious situation that caught my attention this time was that the three species of "fungi" we found were on the surface of the same species of tree, one known as "ash"> : This type of tree is very common to see on the sidewalks of the neighborhood; in fact, we have two specimens in front of my house. The other ¨species¨ : of mushrooms that we found is one that we have seen often in recent months

Another great coincidence that occurred this week was that the three specimens we found have hard bark, and curiously, they are the type of fungi that grow on the bark of this "tree" : Honestly, I don't know how we managed to find this striking "specimen" : as it was inside a fissure in the trunk; Although in the last month we found it several times, they are not one of those "mushrooms" that I find very often

The times we found this "specimen" : , we found it on the bark of this "tree" : . There must be something in its wood that makes these fungi always grow there. While I love mushroom hunting in the reserve, we've had a lot of fun with our "camera" : photographing the fungi we discover in the streets of the neighborhood.

Hola, querida amiga @avdesing.
