Welcome to all the passionate followers of this great "FungiFridayCommunity":  It is a great pleasure to be able to join our friend @ewkaw in her wonderful "FungiFridayContest":   An initiative that allows you to learn about, or expand your knowledge of, "mushrooms"

This week we didn't have to walk to the reserve to look for mushrooms; as I always say, it's great when they come to you. The first "species" :  I'm going to show you, we found a few meters from home, right on the corner in front of the kiosk where we usually do our shopping. This is a specimen that we don't see very often, and the times we did, we found them in this very place.

¨Agaricus¨ :

I found the second "specimen":  a few weeks ago when I visited the land of some friends of my uncle. The man has a beautiful property of several hectares, and it was while exploring the property that I came across these colorful and striking "mushrooms." These species are highly sought after for all their attributes

¨Pycnoporus¨:

These are one of those ¨mushrooms¨ :  that we don't see so often, but when I did it was here in my property. These grow on "manure" and are generally "toxic," which means you have to be very careful when handling them.

It is true that I love visiting the reserve in search of "mushrooms", but I must admit that searching in the It's always fun and exciting to find them on the street. This is why I always take our camera with me whenever I leave the house: you never know when you'll find something interesting to photograph.

This week you made it impossible for me to decide on just one species. All three are beautiful, and each has its own appeal.

Beautiful photographs

It's true, all three species are beautiful, and I don't blame you if you couldn't decide on one; each one is very attractive.

Thank you very much.

Excellent fungi finds, my friend. I've even seen that orange species here in Hawai'i, or a very close relative. Happy Fungi Friday! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
