Big Vs Small

This is my entry for #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw

Its Friday guys, so it is time for some of the fungi or mushrooms to shine on. Not to show that they are edible, but it is time to show the beauty of the natural recycler.

and today I have two different mushrooms, but both of them I took at different times, different gear I use, and also different types and sizes of a mushroom.

The first one is this small mushroom that I took using my Olympus OMD camera, and these clusters of fungi are so small. They are decomposing a very old frangipani leaf that is starting to deteriorate in my garden. Not sure how I could leave this leaf until that state, but I'm glad I left it untouched so that these tiny fungi can grow on it and start the decomposing cycle.

The leaf is not that big, and you can see the clusters of fungi growing on it, and you can imagine the size of these small fungi.

And then the second species today is this solitary that grows on the small wooden log at my parent's house. I was back home, butat that time only had my phone and the small phone macro extension tube. I was so happy that I found this mushroom, and had my extension tube with me so that I could get some photos of this mushroom.

the size of this mushroom is a lot bigger than thecluster that i have above.
