On a cold July night, the yellow-walled room became a place of shelter—not just from the weather, but from the rush of daily life. It became a warm haven for a group gathered with a clear purpose: to share the Word of God.

The evening began in silence, with hearts ready to listen. One of the brothers took the floor, Bible in hand, and from the lectern invited us to reflect on a passage that spoke of hope, struggle, and faith. We all listened respectfully—some following along on their phones, others simply letting the words sink into their souls.

It wasn’t just a talk. It was a moment of encounter—with God, with one another, and with ourselves. These biblical teachings, read in community, take on a new value: they become guidance, encouragement, and companionship amid the everyday.

Then came dinner. Plates of pasta with tomato sauce awaited us at the table. We shared the meal just as we share our faith: with gratitude. Among laughter, stories, and glasses of soda, something greater could be felt. Because it wasn’t just about feeding the body—it was about sharing, about strengthening the bonds that form when the Bible is the center and love for others is the driving force.

July 18, 2025, will be remembered as a simple yet profound night. The kind that doesn’t need anything grand to be meaningful. Because when there is the Word, there is purpose. And when there is purpose, there is life.

En una noche fría de julio, el salón de paredes amarillas se transformó en un lugar de abrigo, no solo por el resguardo del clima, sino por la calidez de un grupo que se reúne con un propósito claro: compartir la Palabra de Dios.

La jornada comenzó en silencio, con los corazones dispuestos a escuchar. Uno de los hermanos tomó la palabra, Biblia en mano, y desde el atril nos invitó a reflexionar sobre un pasaje que hablaba de esperanza, de lucha y de fe. Todos escuchábamos con respeto, algunos con el celular en la mano siguiendo el texto, otros simplemente dejando que las palabras llegaran al alma.

No fue una simple charla. Fue un momento de encuentro con Dios, entre nosotros y con nosotros mismos. Esas enseñanzas bíblicas, leídas en comunidad, cobran otro valor: se vuelven guía, aliento y compañía en medio de la rutina.

Después, llegó la cena. Unos platos de fideos con tuco nos esperaban en la mesa. Compartimos la comida como compartimos la fe: con gratitud. Entre risas, anécdotas y vasos de gaseosa, se sentía la presencia de algo más grande. Porque no se trataba solo de alimentarse, sino de compartir, de fortalecer los lazos que nacen cuando la Biblia es el centro y el amor al prójimo, el motor.

El 18 de julio de 2025 quedará en el recuerdo como una noche simple, pero profunda. De esas que no necesitan grandes cosas para ser importantes. Porque cuando hay Palabra, hay propósito. Y cuando hay propósito, hay vida.
