THE QUIET STRENGTH OF LETTING GO

We don't give ourselves enough credit for the quiet kind of strength, the kind it takes to walk away. To wake up one day, look at something, someone, or a place that no longer nourishes us, and whisper, enough. To take that first uncertain step toward freedom, even when our heart is still catching up. Leaving isn't just a physical act; it's a soul-deep decision. It's unraveling the ties, loosening the grip, choosing yourself even when it hurts.

Whether it's a habit that kept you small, a love that dimmed your light or a space that no longer felt like home, you did something brave. And maybe you've stumbled along the way. Maybe you turned back a few times, held on a little longer than you should have. Even then, the decision to walk away still mattered.

Every time you chose yourself, even if just for a moment,it mattered. We tend to celebrate change only when it's complete, when the transformation is visible. But I hope you take a moment to honor the courage it took to decide in the first place. To say, I deserve more. Because that's where everything begins.

This one resonates with me:

Leaving isn't just a physical act; it's a soul-deep decision.

When butterflies in the stomach turned into scorpions in the chest, I think that's the time to let go.

Mhmm! I'm glad you can relate. I like the butterfly - scorpion analogy too ..

I just came up with the scorpion addition a day ago. I think the analogy is more accurate than other expressions when you are near a person whom you were once most intimate with, but gave you a nightmare. 😅
