My Daughter's Bento Creations

I'm in the States right now and my wife sent me these pictures of some bentos. I told her good job at making some fun food for our daughter to eat. She replied that it was our daughter who made them, not my wife.

I was a bit shocked, but I guess I shouldn't be. My daughter is 11 years old and this is a normal thing to do for girls that age.

I told my wife maybe our daughter should become a patissier. Then we could eat great looking pastries! She said no because I would get fat....

Without knowing I'm sure she saw these online and decided to make them, but I'm not sure. Even if she did copy them, they still look great and were probably difficult to make.

Thanks for reading!

These are so cute and very well done!

My daughter stopped by tonight and was wearing this shirt I think I raised her right.

Wow! love the shirt! I may have to copy it an make a Japanese version! Thanks!

Is that a black tourmaline necklace? Maybe rutile crystal from North Carolina?

It IS tourmaline! I don't know where the piece is from though.

Your daughter is amazing! When I was 11, I couldn’t have done anything like this—honestly, I probably wasn’t even making bentos at all. Using crab sticks for Kitty-chan’s ribbon is such a clever idea!

The third photo really shows what a kind-hearted girl she is🥰

I thought this is normal for girls her age?

I know the last one she made because it was the last day of gakudo. She helps the staff and younger kids there.
