Pasta Sunday || Domingo de pasta [Eng/Esp]

Today I woke up craving something special. It was Sunday, and that could only mean one thing: homemade pasta.

I carefully rolled out the dough, just as my grandmother taught me, and began filling the ravioli one by one. Each one was full of flavor and patience. I love that moment when I arrange them on the table: they look like little pillows of happiness ready to be cooked.

After a while, the aroma of the stew began to fill the house. Carrots, potatoes, onions, and generous pieces of chicken were slowly cooking in a thick, fragrant sauce. It wasn't a traditional ravioli sauce, but today I felt like mixing memories and flavors.

When everything was ready, I proudly served my plate. The ravioli looked perfect, and the stew on top gave them a rustic and comforting touch. I sat down at the table, picked up my fork, and took the first bite.

And in that moment, I knew Sunday had been worth it.

Hoy me levanté con antojo de algo especial. Era domingo, y eso solo podía significar una cosa: pasta casera.

Extendí la masa con cuidado, como me enseñó mi abuela, y comencé a rellenar uno a uno los ravioles. Cada uno estaba lleno de sabor y paciencia. Me encanta ese momento en el que los acomodo sobre la mesa: parecen pequeñas almohadas de felicidad listas para ser cocidas.

Después de un rato, el aroma del estofado comenzó a llenar la casa. Zanahorias, papas, cebolla y trozos generosos de pollo se cocinaban lentamente en una salsa espesa y fragante. No era una salsa tradicional para ravioles, pero hoy tenía ganas de mezclar recuerdos y sabores.

Cuando todo estuvo listo, serví mi plato con orgullo. Los ravioles se veían perfectos, y el estofado encima les daba un toque rústico y reconfortante. Me senté a la mesa, tomé el tenedor y di el primer bocado.

Y en ese instante, supe que el domingo había valido la pena.
