Ourpick Reading Suggestions for July 1st
OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem where quality posts are curated and authors are encouraged to continue with the content creation, adding value to different communities, and Hive in general...

Created in Canva.com
Occasionally, we will pick a couple of awesome posts that we find interesting and will suggest them for your further reading... We hope that it will help authors as an additional promotion... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes give extra value to the whole ecosystem and help authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

RURAL - MONOMAD - Photography series || ENG-ESP || (11 pics) by @jlinaresp
Your photographs reminded me of the scenes I saw when I went on holiday to my maternal grandparents' village. I could almost say that only the names and faces of the subjects in your photographs have changed. From what you say, you must get up very early to capture these evocative images, so I am doubly grateful that you are sharing them. I particularly liked the images of the landscape in ‘moment of silence’ and the last one. Cows make me feel tender, I don't know why, hehe. Great work, I'll be on the lookout for the rest of the images you have saved.

Femme Fatale by @mandragora88
I also wonder if the most renowned artists in history had known how famous and remembered they would be, what they would have thought, such as Van Gogh, Velázquez, and so many others of different styles. And yes, a work of art must be beautiful, above all and in principle for its creator, as is this beautiful work where the mermaid envelops the viewer in her beauty and silent whispers reach everywhere.
The combination of colours creates a harmonious whole and has the golden dust of the universe that is in all things, with that gaze that can penetrate anyone's eyes.

EXHIBITING MY ARTWORK AT THE FIRST ILLUSTRATION EXHIBITION IN MY CITY by @damoclesart
It must be absolutely thrilling not only to exhibit your work for the first time, but also to do so in front of so many people and to be selected. Congratulations on that, your work is very good and I love surrealism.
You were also accompanied by your mother and friends who know about these things. Feeling supported in such an important achievement is very good. These things take a lot of effort, especially for artists, and being recognised is a goal achieved.

Learning a new skill with a fake flute 🥲 by @soyunasantacruz
This is a beautiful story, and yet another way in which life shows me that music has the power to bring people together, whether it be across generations or through an old friendship that blossoms once again. I had many recorders and I've been giving them away. I don't know if I have any left here, but they're not very expensive. I think it's a great instrument to get started in this world. Plus, you have to be part of the choir, which will bring you indescribable joy. I hope you share all your artistic progress in music, and communities like this are ideal places to do so.

Resistance to change, my experience by @belkyscabrera
Change scares us, it's natural. Anything that causes us uncertainty reminds us of our own fragility, which is why we cling to the security of what we already know, even if it's bad for us. I'm glad you followed your dad's advice. You made an effort to grow as a person, and that led to achievements you wouldn't have made if you had stayed at home.

Guayabo Soñoliento (Cover) Música del Llano Venezolano by @jhonymedina
You're right to highlight these composers from the Venezuelan plains. I know for a fact that there are many great unknown artists in Venezuela who have a lot to contribute to folklore, and in fact, you yourself are one of them. Great sound. I was looking for the original author, and your version offers a fresher sound, well done...
