Swimming in the Current
Salmon is one of the key resources in this region of British Columbia and has played an important role in its development for thousands of years. As the population has grown and the environment changed, the salmon numbers have declined.
I came across the following board that discusses the problems faced by the salmon in this particular stream called Noons Creek.
I think that this is a good reminder that we need to keep our rivers clean.

The importance of taking care of nature, in this case the rivers... if everyone would become aware...
I once saw the salmon as they swam upstream where they deposited their eggs on the rocks. The river was full of them. It was wonderful to see.
