Hello all hive friends very happy holidays to all🌲⭐❄️🌞 . Taking part in this contest i am remembering my dear friends from india. i am introducing a very common bird which is native in our area and often around our garden on all sides of our house doing their activities like eating, bathing, resting and of course singing. the birds name is
RED VENTED BULBUL Its latin name is pycnonotus cafer.Native in south india around 17-20cm length.

Early morning sitting in the sun so it seems like taking in vit-D.
Here is quite romantic mood i took this photo from north side window where we have fruit trees.
Eating fruit sapota. the fruits are very sweet healthy and organic. we eat this fruit when we want but save many for them. mostly ripe fruit falling on sandy ground.
the latin name Manilkara zapota. Many birds like these fruits as well as their flowers
.
they also like coconut flower nectar
this young bird likes the cashew fruits in front of the house
when it's time for water drinking they cooperate with other species. here jungle babbler.
taking an afternoon bath
Couple sitting close to nest and relaxing. i did not try to get any photo of their nest. we watch them at a distance so they feel secure. all photos taken by me and my husband @eolianpariah in our garden. with Nikon D40x or from panasonic lumix.
