My Main Hive Account Was Hacked!
My old hive account @aaliyahholt was hacked. I have no idea how they stole my keys. At the time, I didn't know who I can add for a recovery account. The account is beyond recovering since they reset my keys and my owner key no longer works.
I made this account in 2018 when I was being downvote botted on Steemit. I recall this account already being here when people jumped ship from Steemit. OGs remember the Sun takeover.
No point in posting on the other account for them to take my earnings

If your hacked Hive account's recovery wasn't @steem, then you could have recovered your account with the help of the owner of the recovery account that you have chosen. Setting even just #Ecency as the recovery account (before the hack) would have helped a lot.
unfortunately I didn't add a recovery since I wasn't sure who I could add at the time.
There's the Hive saying that changing your own Hive account's recovery account to any Hive account other than
steemis many times better than leaving it as is (such thatsteemgives you exactly zero chance of a Hive account recovery, unless a Hive Hard fork which addresses that takes place).I will help you "get back on your feet" by curating all your posts and comments (and also using #Ecency Perks to Promote great ones).
I noticed that your Hive account's Resource Credits have been depleted, so I delegated you enough Hive Power to resume publishing posts and comments everyday.
It is very important to change your current Hive account's recovery account away from @steem as soon as possible. I suggest #Ecency, but you can use any other Hive account (either a Hive Witness or a trusted Hive friend) for that.

Is that for your current (backup) Hive account, or is it also possible for the previous one?
Anyway, it would be quite easy for me to help raise your current Hive account's Reputation to 50 in just about 2 weeks, where it would be faster if you publish at least one good post a day.

If you publish not only (good) posts but also several (meaningful) comments per day, then your Hive account can get more curation (and your account's Reputation would rise more quickly).

This is not the first time I've seen something like this. How can we prevent this?
To recover from such hacks (if they happen to you), you must choose another Hive account whose owner is both knowledgeable about Hive and is also trustworthy as your recovery account for your own Hive account.
