Hello Hivers 💕💘,

The necessity of planting crop production in small quantity or a large quantity the paint on how much capacity you have to manage your farm and to sustain it. So many farmers do not really ask themselves a lot of questions before jumping into crop production or animal Production. Just take for instance myself. For every reason I always ask that how much space do I have to cultivate crops or how much space can I rent to make a good production for a particular practice season? I also asked myself that how much financial assistance can I receive from people close to me or very far from me to boost my farm activities and also my further Farm analysis?

So I asked a lot of questions within myself and also as group. This will always give me a head up in so much activities or plan that is ahead of time. When I asked that how much space do I have? This means that to what quantity can I plant a particular crop or seed. Likewise in terms of spacing. Because every crops needs what is called good spacing. This spacing will allow good plants formation and good development. So you need to ask a lot of questions to give you a very good and proper mindset agricultural mindset. So in view of this. The millet or Guinea corn is also one of the crops that is cultivated much in the northern part of Nigeria. This is because of some factors such as the type of soil that is being found in those region. So this is also part of it. The more you plant this type of crops, the lesser you work. In terms of Farm activities. Because the agricultural formula and the sun does not give much weed competition.

This Millet is a very good crop because even when you plant it it will start to maneuver itself even when you do not have a lot of time to practically manage it. But yes it will always develop and grow on its own. Just like some other crops as well.

Meanwhile, for some other crops you need to be engaged in it. You always need to visit the farm regularly so that there will be much spreading out of the crops to gain more grounds for survival.

No matter the state of the millet or Guinea corn it will always go up equally unless you have some special fertilizer application that is being treated on some particular agricultural Farmland space. This is what I mean. Sometimes there are some situations that will warrant addition of extra fertilizers. To boost the crops. So it will also work differently when you plant some other crops on it.

For this type of crop it will use more than 4 months for it to grow up and reach it maturity stage. When it's growing up, you show a lot of signs that will make you to even understand the plants better. Some flowers and as well the tall growth and development will arise in a different way.

  • When I start the farm, I also encourage the farmer colleague, to initiate what is called mixed cropping system. Although for this particular type of crop it is overhead. It means that has gone far so the mix cropping system cannot survive it. It can only survive when they type of cropping system is introduced a immediately after some few weeks or planting the millet or Guinea corn.

There are also some particular features and some other things you need to do to ensure that your farming season will be more in abundance. You should always ensure that you had a lot of surrounding so to eat particular plants stand because of erosion and some other predators.

You should also know that you need to sometimes bend the parent plant when it is extremely tall, so that there will be much more concentration on the seed or the food production not on the parents plant again. If you are very familiar with farming, you see this in most of the farms being cultivated in the northern part of Nigeria when traveling or passing by.
