Time for farmers to shine. Agriculture is our lives

Farming in my country Nigeria here have scared me dor a period of time now because of what people face in the farm land. Not just me, alot of farmers has been chased away from their farm land and some even killed at the process because of insecurities. But thank God for this year for someone like myself who decided to go and do a little work in iur fsrm land.

Rain did not come early this year as expected by farmers. We were all seated and waiting for the rain patiently. When it was no forth coming we were so worried. But at last we saw the rain last week and all the farmer took their farming tools and went to farm.
My family and myself also went to the farm to try our lucky. Our prayer is that there will be no insecurity issues this year im the farm. Amen.

We decide not to do ridges as before but to plant our seeds like that and apply the fertilizer meant to be applied. We have been expecting support from our government and none if coming. So, we had to look for money to buy all that we need for the moment. Here in my country for one to farm, you will spend alot of money and id at the end cattle rearrers walk into the farm and finish up everything planted with their cattles, it means that one will have nothing to fall back to. We pray God takes them away from our farm.
