🎉 A Sweet Surprise on an Unexpected Workday 🍍🍰

Hello Hivers!! Good day to you all!

Today was supposed to be my rest day.. Since it's National Day in China, all my clients are on vacation.. I was really looking forward to just chilling the whole day,, maybe sleep in, maybe binge a little series.. 😊

But... reality check,,
I had a few tasks that I didn’t finish yesterday (oops 😅) so I told myself: "Okay, let’s get these done first thing in the morning, so I can have the rest of the day for myself" 👊😄

Well, let me tell you... it was worth it... 👍

While I was busy trying to beat my own deadlines,, my daughter came up to me with the sweetest little surprise,, a doughnut and a cold can of pineapple juice 🍩🍍

well, how can I not smile after that? 😊

As if that wasn’t enough,, after finishing my work,, I got another surprise... My sister dropped by 🎉
She brought a cute little cake,,

it was a gift from her student for Teacher’s Day.. How thoughtful is that? 🥹

We ended up sitting together,, enjoying the cake (it was purple and pretty and yummy)
and just catching up.. It felt like a mini celebration in the middle of an ordinary day...

Sometimes,, even when you think the day will be all work and no fun,, life throws you little surprises.. All you need to do is keep your heart open and appreciate the small, sweet moments 💖

Whether it’s a doughnut from your child,, a refreshing drink,, or an unexpected visit from family,, these are the things that make life feel full.. 😊
