The solo exhibition of the local street artist LDB

An happy Saturday to all hivers here!

Yesterday, in the afternoon, me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went to the local library where there was the opening of an interesting solo exhibition by the street artist LDB. Ldb is a young artist who was born and lives in my city Pistoia (Italy). Since arond 10 years his artworks (made by stencils) is giving a touch of art (and kindness) to some corner of the streets. In time I watched many of his pieces while I was walking around and, 3 years ago, he placed one of his little pieces close to the bookstore where I worked with my friend Elena and my hubby. I've never met him in person and so yesterday I was really curious to meet him for the first time!

The style of this artist reminds to Banksy (and he use to tell about how he was influenced by the art of Banksy) and,in the recent times he also worked for some nice projects with children and to share positive messages throught his art.

The exhibition was really interesting because there were some of the stencils he used for his pieces and, at the wall, there was some pics of the corner of the city where he painted the pieces.

When I met him in person and I chat a little with him, I could understand he is a very awesome and friendly guy too! ^_^
