Autumn is over.

Thursday is Thanksgiving Day in the US and my family is here preparing food and getting ready for our feast. It was decided that we should have some autumn flowers for a centerpiece for the Thanksgiving table, so a trip was made to the greenhouse, but no luck!

Everything was Christmas! Not an autumn decoration in sight. I guess we were supposed to be planning ahead but I just wanted a few fresh flowers or even a small plant with with some autumn colored ribbons wrapped around the pot.

I have more than enough Christmas decorations, collected over the years. They are the ones that hold the memories of my children's childhoods and years of marvelous holidays. I felt no need to buy anything new.

But the displays were lovely and very festive!
Just not what we were looking for!

Not even a tattered leftover!

I love Christmas stuff and although I don't need another piece myself, they do have some nice items. Loving those Santas in green. So pretty!

My house is fully decorated for Christmas! After the kitchen is cleaned up, the whole family contributes to putting up my decorations! It's fun to have the holiday sparkle.

That's wonderful!

Today is the day of the year I usually do the bulk of mine, well, today and tomorrow. I've just gotten up a while ago and I'm already wondering if I am going to do all that. LOL...I HAVE enjoyed my tree so far and I'm wonder if I need the rest. Of course after I get going and have some coffee and the such, I'm sure I'll slowly get to doing something more. I really want my porch lights up. I have it down to a science and although I used to do it different every year, the last couple of years I've done it the very same each year and can get it out and up in about 30 to 45 minutes. I'm hoping I at least have that done by dark.

I'm sure once I get to playing in the Christmas closet, more "stuff" will come out and after it does, I'll be happy it did.

Glad you have your holiday sparkle going!

Thank you! I won't need to cook for days. We always cook so much food, but leftovers are one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving!

Ohoo, the decoration is top notch.
Few weeks ago, you posted a lot of autumn colored trees.
I mean trees that changed colours because of autumn 🍂.
I am surprised that none was found at the stores.
For me right now, its a business gap that any person can take hold of and fill it by preserving those plants next time for this occasion.
It is fun to see beautiful, fun filled Xmas trees and decor collections you've gotten over the years.
I have heard a lot about Thanksgiving day.
I would love to read more about this.
It sounds fun and loving.
Like a victory celebration 🍾 ✨️ 🙌

It all goes by so fast! Speaking of time, we should ask for December curator applications!
