More Phonk Songs... Three Tunes Tuesday.
Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
The last post I made here was three weeks ago and it was an entry to that week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. I'm back again on another Tuesday to highlight more songs for y'all's listening pleasure.
A lot of changes can be noticed in my playlist between then and now. So much improvement, actually.
By the time I made my three Tunes post 3 weeks ago, I had only 4 songs in my Funk (Phonk) music playlist. I selected 3 songs from that list to draft my three Tunes post back then.
I genuinely suggest you go listen to some of the songs in there. You will be glad you did.
At this very moment, that particular playlist has 17 top quality songs in it. And, I'm not even kidding when I say that each of those songs are diligently curated before they made it to my playlist.
So, for today's edition of 3 tunes Tuesday, I will be highlighting additional Phonk songs.
1. GATA ONLY by FloyyMenor and Cris MJ.
FloyyMenor and Cris MJ are the Chilean artists that are responsible for this hit song which for some reasons is currently trending on social media despite being released 18 months ago. This is their only song that has walked into my playlist and I'm so glad I found this.
The song is a very chill one and, just like every other phonk song in my playlist, I genuinely don't care about the lyrics. Haha. It's also interesting to see there's an official music video for this because it's rare to see phonk musics with official music video.
2. MENTE MÁ by Nakama and Mc Staff.
Every time I play a phonk music by Nakama, even if I'm just listening to it for the first time, the beat just sounds unique to her. I have a few of her songs in my playlist and I'm hoping to come across additional ones because she's really that good.
Her YouTube Bio reads "a 20-year-old anonymous female producer from Germany". Her name actually sounds more Japanese than German. Plus, she always promote her songs with Japanese anime. Haha. So, I'm already a big fan of Nakama despite being fairly new to the Phonk Music world.
3. EEYUH! x Fluxxwave by Clovis Reyes, HR, and Irokz.
Similar to every other phonk song in my playlist, this has been trending across several platforms. It is used as soundtrack of YouTube shorts, especially for edits of the iconic Salesman character from Squid Game. The song is also used in gaming and luxury content.
This song already has about 40 million streams on Spotify alone in just 15 months of its release. It also has some iterations like the slowed and reverbed versions which are also trending on several platforms.
Yeah!
That's a wrap on today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday!
See y'all in the next edition.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

Hey,,Liverpool boss, glad to see you here in action again. You have MIA for a long while.
Hope you're good and how are the twins you're nursing (cos other than kids, I don't see what else is keeping you away from hive 😜😜).......just teasing* 😁😁
Hahah... Now, I'm having a really good laugh 😂
The whole Phonk/Funk music thing sounded very exciting when I first heard the name. I decided to check what it's all about and that category of music is now my favorite 😂.
Don't mine me and my MIA.
A new footballing season is on the way. So, I will have to get back onboard as soon as possible. Haha
Stay safe over there,
Yeah, thanks 👍
Are there actually music called the funk music? Quite the first time I will be hearing about this type of music actually
Yeah. Haha. I just discovered they are called that a month ago.
It's an interesting name right there.
