New drawing: Dolly Parton
Good morning everyone,
Happy new day to you all. This morning I want to share with us my recent drawing of Dolly Parton. She is a multi talented individual. I thought she's just a country singer and song writer but while reading about her I realised she's many things like an actress, author, multi instrumentalist, entertainer and humanitarian too. She started her country music as early as 1967 and she attained success in the 70s and 80s but not so well in the 90s and well again in the 2000s. She has composed so many song and sold millions of records worldwide. Just while reading about her I found out she was the original composer of "I will always love you". I've always thought it was Whitney Houston's but now I know it wasn't. Dolly composed the song when she was leaving her mentor and business partner in 1973 and realised the song 1974. I even listed to her version and it was amazing with her voice in it. My favorite songs of hers are "Coats of many colors" and "Jolene". She has won so many awards like the Grammy Awards, Academy Country Award and even the Lifetime Achievement Awards. Dolly Parton is an exceptional human being with amazing gifts.
The drawing was made on pelican paper using Bic ballpoint biro.
