¡Saludos amigos de Hive, espero que estén muy bien! Hoy vengo a participar en está interesante iniciativa semanal donde la anterior edición no pude participar por falta de tiempo y muchas ocupaciones, para esta semana nos toca el tema "destino" y precisamente para ello les vengo a compartir el álbum "Destiny" de la banda Stratovarius que es un álbum que me gusta muchísimo al igual que la banda. Yo en lo personal con las bandas y álbumes soy un caso ya que no me suelen gustar todas las canciones y este no fue la excepción, les comparto el álbum, su historia y su significado espero que les guste y se animen a participar en la iniciativa...

I wasn't able to participate in the previous edition due to lack of time and busy schedules. This week, we're focusing on the theme of "destiny," and that's why I'm sharing the album "Destiny" by the band Stratovarius. I love it a lot, as do the band itself. Personally, I'm a bit of an exception when it comes to bands and albums, since I don't usually like all the songs, and this one was no exception. I'm sharing the album, its story, and its meaning. Stratovarius es una banda finlandesa de power metal melódico con elementos de música clásica, fundado en 1984 en Helsinki por Tuomo Lassila, John Vihervä y Staffan Stråhlman bajo el nombre Black Water. A partir de 1986 se le ha conocido como Stratovarius (término inventado por Lassila que fusiona dos instrumentos musicales: Stradivarius, instrumentos de cuerda (como los violines) altamente apreciados por los músicos; y Stratocaster, (modelo de guitarra eléctrica de la marca Fender).[1] Stratovarius es una de las pioneras del power metal y el metal sinfónico.

Stratovarius is a Finnish band of melodic power metal with elements of classical music, founded in 1984 in Helsinki by Tuomo Lassila, John Vihervä and Staffan Stråhlman under the name Black Water. Since 1986 it has been known as Stratovarius (a term invented by Lassila that fuses two musical instruments: Stradivarius, string instruments (such as violins) highly appreciated by musicians; and Stratocaster, (electric guitar model of the Fender brand). [1] Stratovarius is one of the pioneers of power metal and symphonic metal.

¿Porque te gustan las canciones de este(a) artista?
Why do you like this artist's songs?

Bueno, creo que lo expliqué hace tiempo cuando hice el top de canciones de esta banda (o álbum, no recuerdo) pero está banda me gusta mucho por la sonoridad que tiene, me hace sentir como en esos vídeos que editaban donde los personajes de anime peleaban y le da ese toque más "épico" e interesante. Además de eso me gusta mucho el sonido que tiene al tener elementos de la música clásica como guitarras, pianos eléctricos, violines y hasta una coral.

Well, I think I explained it a while ago when I wrote a top song list for this band (or album, I don't remember), but I really like this band because of its sound. It makes me feel like I'm in those videos they used to edit where the anime characters were fighting, and it gives it that more "epic" and interesting touch. Besides that, I really like the sound it has, with elements of classical music like guitars, electric pianos, violins, and even a choir.

El álbum que les comparto "Destiny"

Destiny es el séptimo álbum de estudio la banda finlandesa de power metal Stratovarius. Salió a la venta el 5 de octubre de 1998 por el sello discográfico T&T Récords. El álbum llegó al puesto número 1 en Finlandia y se mantuvo ahí por 17 semanas logrando un disco de oro en su tierra natal. El disco lleva 9 canciones, (10 en la edición de Japón) y (10 en la edición Europea). Recibió un Grammy finlandés al disco más vendido del año. En la edición USA está compuesta por 10 canciones, la última es una versión de la banda de Alemania, Scorpions con el tema "Blackout" interpretado por el cantante Timo Kotipelto. El 21 de octubre de 2016 el sello discográfico Edel Music relanzó nuevamente el disco con más material extra tanto como las edición de Japón, Europa y USA fueron lanzados nuevamente en uno solo disco y remasterizado. Fue lanzado nuevamente junto con el disco en vivo Visions of Destiny.

Destiny is the seventh studio album by Finnish power metal band Stratovarius. It was released on October 5, 1998, through T&T Records. The album peaked at number 1 in Finland and remained there for 17 weeks, achieving gold certification in their homeland. The album features nine tracks (10 on the Japanese version) and ten on the European version). It received a Finnish Grammy for best-selling album of the year. The US edition features ten tracks, the last of which is a cover of the German band Scorpions' song "Blackout" performed by vocalist Timo Kotipelto. On October 21, 2016, Edel Music re-released the album with additional bonus features. The Japanese, European, and US editions were re-released on a single, remastered disc. It was re-released alongside the live album Visions of Destiny.
