G. Marconi State Technical Institute (FC - Italy) [EN]-[IT]

Description
The history of this educational institution began as early as 1894, but it was in 1933 that it was recognized as the Royal Industrial Technical Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Experts and became a full-fledged technical school.
In 1984 the State Industrial Technical Institute of Forlì was named after "Guglielmo Marconi".
In 2020 the Mechatronics Mechanics course is activated.
One of the best known things is that the institute was expressly wanted by Benito Mussolini to provide Forlì with a school structure for urban and extraterritorial service.
The school complex was designed by the engineer Arnaldo Fuzzi.
The current project dates back to 1934 but was not completed until 1941.
What immediately stands out to the eye is certainly the monumental six-pillared entrance. During the Second World War this building was bombed and suffered heavy damage. It was later rebuilt.
These photos show the institute during the evening hours. The lighting highlights its imposing facade, an expression of late rationalism.

Wow the architectural work on this building is really so admirable
It is one of the most interesting historical Italian buildings from the 1930s in Northern Italy. Thanks for stopping by
I never knew the history of education was as long as that
Thanks so much for sharing!
among other things this building has a certain historical importance. In fact, in itself it has a cultural value because it reflects the architecture of the 1930s, years in which Italy was commanded by Duce Benito Mussolini.
I wish i could study in Italy sir. Happy new year to you.
I couldn't tell you if Italian schools are the best because I don't know the others... But Italian schools are certainly among the most historic ones
The night light of the building is really amazing to behold I must confess 💕
I agree with you, they underline the grandeur of the building

It looked simple and small, but it has such a rich history. I really like the choice of color, and its effect on the highlighting the building.
The construction of this building began in the 1930s, in 10 years it will be 100 years old
