Hoverfly and a Purple Flower

A tiny hoverfly hangs from the center of a purple flower. The angle of this little insect makes it so I can only get parts of it in focus, while the exceptionally shallow depth of field causes the details to softly fade. The effect is common in macro, and I like to use it to my advantage in capturing different angles and finding little creatures like this. its best to just take the shots while they are there, as you never know when they will fly off.
