Butterflies enjoy the sweet taste of fruit just like many people do. I watched these ones hang around and stick their long toungues to taste these slices of melon at the buttefly enclosure in the Calgary Zoo. It is a great palce to observe them in an enviornemt where they wont be as hard to catch sitting still. Seeing them feed this way was a unqiue treat as I had never seen them feed this way before.
