Tuesday was a day when things started up a few hours later than usual. Everyone in the family besides myself was nursing a hangover, which means extra sleep. I was out of bed an hour later than my usual time, just because I knew I'd be waiting all morning for everybody else to get up and running.

I had time to write my daily blog, cook breakfast, workout a bit, and get ready for our day down on the beach. By the time everyone else was ready too, it was close to noon already. This was no big deal though as we still had all day to be out there if we wanted to.

I think we ended up going back to our beach house around 3:30 and that's about the same time as usual we head back. So ultimately we were out there for only 3 or 4 hours, which is slightly less than usual. This is why overdoing it with alcohol is a great way to hinder your own lifestyle. I'm lucky I got all of the partying out of my system when I was much younger, as now I never have to deal with the negative effects of drinking.

The only beach photos I took on Tuesday were of my parents. My brother wasn't feeling any photos and I could tell nobody felt like getting up from their beach chair to take photos of me. I caught my mom and dad getting motivated to put their feet in the cold ocean water and seized my chance to take a few photos.

Once we got back home and cleaned up, it was time for dinner. This was the first day of the trip and I was the one to select the restaurant. I decided upon a place called Burger 25, which had dozens of burgers and all sorts of other yummy things like milkshakes. I went with a breakfast burger which I can describe as being similar to a McGriddle with maple syrup cooked into the burger. I also got fries with gravy and a deep-fried brownie milkshake. We were all happy with our choices and also psyched about the fact that this place was much cheaper than any other place that we had eaten so far during this trip.

A quick trip to Wal-Mart was next. I was so full that I sat in the car while everyone else got a few necessary items to finish out the week here in NJ.

We were all totally exhausted once we got back home and decided it was time to call it a night. We ended up watching this movie called "Bad Trip" starring the hilarious comedian Eric André. It was one of those movies where they are secretly filming and pranking people in the real world, much like Jackass. It was absolutely hilarious and I think we all laughed more than we had during any movie together in quite a while. I do believe that I heard my mom laugh the loudest I ever had heard her laugh before during the gorilla scene. I won't spoil what happens, but let's just say there is something shocking that occurs. If you want to watch Bad Trip, you can check it out on flixtor.to, but be aware that this one you will have to have a membership for since it is from 2021. I’ll link a tweet I posted of the gorilla scene and you can make the choice if you want to watch it or not.

We thought about watching another movie, but we were all too tired and we knew we wouldn't finish it. We all went to bed and it is now the following morning and I'm happy to say that we all are back on schedule and awake early in the morning, as we should be at the beach.

Stay tuned for my Day 5 post tomorrow.

No pressure on time is the best. It’s for relaxation anyways. 😅
Next time if no one takes photos of you in the beach, bring a tripod and a remote 😅

It may just be annoying that you will get back to work someday
This kind of enjoyment will not be a bad idea

Sounds like you are all having a great time. Whoa, that burger and fries look so damn good. You have alot of sharks up there? There've been a bunch of shark attacks and such here...sea creatures acting strange lately. Be safe and enjoy your family vacation!

I didn't see any sharks thankfully. I never have in my life (besides at the aquarium) and hope I never do. Although there was an 18 ft great white sighting in the area a few weeks before we arrived.

I think gravy on fries must be a New England thing because I saw multiple places with that option on the menu.

I do not know what movie that's from though. What is it?

its an older 1991 movie and there's a psycho trans guy who kidnapps another dude and keeps him in like a 20 ft pit. He lowers a bucket on a rope, with lotion and a car magazine that the dude likes.. he tells the hostage 'it puts lotion on the skin'.. so that later, his skin is nice and soft for when he cuts off his face and wears it like a mask! :P
