Here you can see a typical summer scene in one of the shallow inlets of the bay of Medulin. A red half-submerged boat that looks a bit like a red version of the famous yellow submarine. You can see some beach canoes too. It's a fairly colorful scene.
This photograph was taken early in the morning on a stretch of coastline near one of the three big hotels in my hometown. The morning was warm and humid, but the atmosphere still felt kinda refreshing when compared to the rest of this long hot summer day.
Here you can see the permanently open window of the oldest stone house in my neighborhood.
Here you can see the closed windows of one of the many new buildings about a hundred meters from the old house shown in the previous photograph. The "invert" version of the shot, created in Photoshop, looked kinda cool, so I included that thing too.
This is a detail from the Church of Saint Agnes, the biggest church in town. The branches that create a frame for the architecture in the center of the shot belong to the tall old cypress trees that provide a solid shade on a day like this.
Here you can see a very ordinary window of one of the many ordinary houses in the area around the church on the small hill. It's one of those houses that isn't old enough to be historic nor new enough to be fresh and attractive. I live in a similar house.
In this evening shot you can see the sunset above the pond on the outskirts of my neiberhood, about two hundred meters from where I live. It's a pretty big pond that supports an interesting community of birds, fishes, and various small arthropods.
It was a hot summer day, so it wasn't very inviting for walking around and photographing the very usual stuff around my hometown, but somehow, I decided to do just that. To walk around and take a few pictures along the way. I did it once in the morning, once in the early afternoon, and then I also took a short evening walk to the pond at the edge of town. Today's post is short, but it has a nice diversity of things in it. A bit of scenery, some architecture, and you can also find some birds in the last photograph. Yep. And that's it. Hi @borjan , going for a walk and even doing sports helps to get the photos we need to work on this panel, by the way, the last photo is magnificent, I like the sunset and the color of the water with the animals, I could place this photo as the background of my computer screen, well, I can't it's yours haaaaa so I just look at it and imagine it on my computer

I especially like the photo of the old stone house with the open window. It's such a charming and inviting scene, and I can imagine how peaceful it would be to sit in that window and watch the world go by.
The photo of the closed windows of the new building is also very interesting. I love the way the contrast between the dark windows and the bright sky creates a sense of mystery and intrigue.
A short but interesting mix of new & old building photos! The styles are very different, that's for sure !LOL
