Happy Hump Day, y'all amazing people!

Over a week ago, when there was no typhoon yet, I remember my friend calling me on the phone and asking me if we could go somewhere. I told her, of course, as long as it doesn't rain, and suggested it would be better if we could leave in the morning or before lunch time since it surely rains in the afternoon. I was told that she would come pick me and my daughter up at the house. I told her we could go the next day. It was already a deal. My daughter was excited since my friend's kids are also joining us, and we have not gone anywhere since her recognition day a month ago. We decided to go somewhere next to town where a coffee shop is located on a mountain with a view deck and a tree house. I was there last year with some of my friends from Baguio City, and it would be nice to visit again with my friends here in the lowlands.

The next day, my daughter and I started preparing around 10 a.m. When my friend was at our house gate, the rain began pouring really hard. What a bummer. We deferred our escape, and as of recently, there's no distinct date yet. It would be perilous to go since the street is tricky and slippery, and the way to the spot is a one-way street and extremely steep. I feel bad for my friend, though. This is supposedly her first visit up there. Well, maybe next time, the weather cooperates.

Anyway, I have a couple photographs here from my recent visit to the coffee shop in the mountains. I hope to visit again as soon as possible. The place is beyond tranquil, I swear!
