Discovering a new community: Moonkart Racers Hub
A new community: Moonkart Racers Hub
Hello everyone!
Lately I am digging deeper into the play-to-earn game Moonkarts. It's a game of Invennium Corp, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Splinterlands, the famous play-to-earn game on the Hive blockchain. As you probably know or may now know, there wasn't a dedicated community for the Moonkart Racers Hub. But that has changed, recently, @mrdani12 created the community on the Hive Blockchain. So if you are writing about Moonkarts, feel free to subscribe to the community and share your winnings, strategies and everything else in a post in C/Moonkart Racers Hub!
Growing as a game
Moonkarts is one of the games which are available on Arcade Colony. It was the first game which was available on Arcade Colony and so far it is the one with the most active community as well. That's ofcourse logical as it's the only game in which you can earn rewards. Stakehouse Den is already playable but you can't earn rewards (yet). Hyper Railway Blaster is playable but as a test phase.
The Discord of Moonkarts is alive as well. If you haven't joined it yet, you can find it here: https://discord.gg/AMG6fQCq As expected, it's the Official Discord of Arcade Colony. As explained above, Moonkarts is one of the games of Arcade Colony, so it makes sense to have one central Discord for all the games. But there are dedicated channels aimed at Moonkarts players. Don't expect a sleeping discord. Moonkarts players are quite active, besides racing, they know how to socialize as well.
Besides the general talk, you can find the latest updates in the discord as well. There is a marketplace where you can try to scoop up some great buys, both cards like carts and racers and fuel. You need fuel to play races and can earn it by holding Moonkarts assets and Script. Script is the stablecoin of the Arcade Colony ecosystem, similar to the role dec has in Splinterlands.
Moonkart Whitepaper
Another place to get yourself informed about Moonkarts, is the whitepaper. For those unfamiliar with web3 projects, a whitepaper is the document in which the project is explained. You can find the purpose of the project, the tokenomics, the team behind the project and so in the whitepaper. So don't hesitate to check out the whitepaper of Moonkarts at https://moonkarts.gitbook.io/moonkarts-tm
It's always best to read a whitepaper before you think about investing in a certain project. So if you want to join the races to earn some Colony, go and read the whitepaper.
Thank you very much for stopping by and reading my post! Feel free to engage in the comments, I try to reward decent comments with upvotes.

How do you get so many upvotes?
Interact with people, focus on growing your network.
You could see Hive as a business / social network. You should grow your network through engaging with others. Don't focus on the upvotes, see it as a great extra you could potentially earn. Look around, see which communities for your interests, talk with people.
When you write articles yourself, try to write articles you would like to read, quality. It could be really about anything.
If you want to learn more about Hive, check out the Hive learners community.
Remember Hive isn't a get rich quick scheme but you have to build your following step by step.
On Hive, you have liquid Hive and staked Hive.
Liquid Hive can be traded, send to people, etc.
Staked Hive (Hive Power) gives you influence on the blockchain to vote on articles posted by others, interact about proposals regarding the future of the blockchain, etc. It is possible to delegate Hive Power. That way you lend your Hive Power to someone else. (Could be to support someone or for a certain fee or as a gift or...)
