CAKE Cryptocurrency
CAKE is the acronym for the cryptocurrency known as PancakeSwap
This crypto project is one of the most popular projects dedicated to DeFi. PancakeSwap is a decentralized finance platform (also called DEX) (DeFi = decentralized finance) built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Being on the BSC blockchain initially had an explosion of popularity as it had rather low transaction fees compared to the competition.
The DeFi platform uses an AMM system, i.e. an Automated Market Maker, the main prerogative for being a DeFi project. CAKE is in fact the native token of PancakeSwap.
I did some research to find out who founded it, but currently I seem to have understood that the development team has chosen anonymity. However, we know that the launch took place in 2020, when the token was worth $0.5.

On 23-02-2025 the value of the CAKE token was $2.48
Its maximum was made on April 30, 2021 when the token reached the value of $44.18
Its minimum was made on September 29, 2020 when the token reached the value of $0.0002
Position in the Coinmarketcap ranking: 96
Below are the percentages of gain in some periods of the year:
In 1 day: +6.08%
In 7 days: -10.99%
In 30 days: +13.95%
In 1 year: -22.93%

From the 1-year chart we see the following.
In one year Cake has lost 20% of its value. The interesting thing, however, is to see how the $1.5 threshold has been an excellent static support. Every time CAKE was worth around $1.5, purchases have restarted.
The annual trend has however been very fluctuating, a symptom of strong sales and strong purchases, where, however, as we have said, for now sales have prevailed over the 1-year value.

Conclusions
PancakeSwap is a DeFi platform that runs on the BNB CHain. I believe it is the most popular DeFi platform in the BNB ecosystem. The value of the token today is far from its highs, but the interesting thing is that there is no shortage of updates to the platform.

Criptomoneta CAKE
CAKE è la sigla della criptomoneta conosciuta come PancakeSwap
Questo progetto crypto è uno dei progetti dedicati alla DeFi più popolari. PancakeSwap è una piattaforma decentralizzata (chiamata anche DEX) di finanza (DeFi = finanza decentralizzata) costruita sulla Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Essendo su blockchain BSC inizialmente ha avuto un'esplosione di popolarità in quanto aveva tasse di transazione piuttosto basse rispetto alla concorrenza.
La piattaforma DeFi utilizza un sistema AMM cioè un Automated Market Maker, prerogativa principale per essere un progetto DeFi. CAKE è appunto il token nativo di PancakeSwap.
Ho fatto una ricerca per capire chi l’ha fondato, ma attualmente mi sembra di aver capito che il team di sviluppo abbia scelto l’anonimato. Il lancio però sappiamo che è avvenuto nel 2020, quando il token valeva 0,5$.

Il giorno 23-02-2025 il valore del token CAKE era di 2,48$
Il suo massimo è stato fatto il 30 aprile 2021 quando il token ha raggiunto il valore di 44,18$
Il suo minimo è stato fatto il 29 settembre 2020 quando il token ha raggiunto il valore di 0,0002$

Dal grafico impostato ad 1 anno notiamo quanto segue.
In un anno Cake ha perso il 20% del suo valore. La cosa interessante però è vedere come la soglia di 1,5$ sia stato un ottimo supporto statico. Ogni volta che CAKE valeva circa 1,5$, gli acquisti sono ripartiti.
L'andamento annuale è comunque stato molto altalenante sintomo di forti vendite e fori acquisti, dove però, come abbiamo detto, per ora le vendite hanno prevalso sul valore relativo ad 1 anno.

2.2 - Possiamo notare che una delle novità è che per ora con le blockchain di Ethereum e Arbitrium le fee sono state portate a zero. Non ho ben capito però quando finirà questa promozione.

Conclusioni
PancakeSwap è una piattaforma DeFi che gira sulla BNB CHain. Io credo che sia la piattaforma DeFi più popolare dell'ecosistema di BNB. Il valore del token oggi è molto lontano dai suoi massimi, ma la cosa interessante è che gli aggiornamenti alla piattaforma non mancano.
