Last Brawl Report - Leveling Up Some of My Gladiator Cards - Purchasing and Opening 10 Gladius Cases | Splinterlands

Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. Another exciting and competitive Brawl has ended in the Splinterlands and in the last Brawl I entered 9 battles and won 7 and lost 2, and I got 21 points for the Dark Assassins guild that I am a member of. I can say that it was the most difficult Brawl in recent times, my opponents were really strong and their strategies were also very good, and despite the difficulties I managed to win 7 battles. I really needed my Possibilus the Wise Summoner card in the last Brawl, but unfortunately it was defeated in Survival format, so it was not playable, otherwise I could have won both of the battles I lost. If I knew I would need it so much I would rent another copy. Possibilus the Wise is a really powerful summoner.

The Dark Assassins guild I am a member of came in 5th place, I was hoping to be 1st but it didn't happen this time, I hope we will be 1st in the next one. I'm not sure but I think the interest in Brawls is increasing day by day, and the rewards seem to have increased. Winning rewards is always great but for me having fun is even more great and I can say that I had a lot of fun in the last Brawl and I can't wait for the next one. If you have time I highly recommend you to join the Brawls, I can say that I almost join all of them. Additionally, you can earn both staked SPS and Merit(s) by joining in Brawls.

And at the end of the last Brawl, I earned 3,833 MERITS and 31.020 staked SPS as reward. Even though we came in 5th, I think the rewards were not bad at all, but if we had ranked higher we could have earned more rewards.

This week I also got a lot of Merits from reward chests and I just bought 10 Gladius cases for 20,000 MERITS from the guild shop.

And now I'm opening 10 Gladius cases in bulk, the Gladiator cards I got from the Gladius cases are as follows:

I got 3 Epic, 12 Rare and 35 Common (one is gold foil) gladiator cards from 10 Gladius cases, I didn't get any Legendary cards but I can honestly say that I'm very happy with the cards I got because I managed to level up some of my cards.

By the way, combining multiple cards of the same name will increase the cards' level, which will in most cases change the cards' stats. And the gladiator cards I just leveled up are as follows;

Trapp Falloway

I upgraded my Trapp Falloway card to level 4 and it gained the Halving ability. Units with the Halving ability apply -50% to target's power (rounded down) after a successful attack, in other words, halving that target's power. By the way, the Halving ability is a tribute to bitcoin's halving. I like this ability because it can be very useful in battles so it was great to level up my Trapp Falloway card.

Whistling Damon

I upgraded my Whistling Damon card to level 7 and it gained +1 ranged attack but lost -1 health. He lost 1 health, but now he will be able to hit his targets much more powerfully and considering that he has the Piercing ability, I think he will be much more effective in battles. However, since he has 4 health, I will definitely make sure to armor him in battles, otherwise it will be easy to destroy him.

Palidon Rakk

I upgraded my Palidon Rakk card to level 5 and it gained +1 health.

Bertrol Gobson

I upgraded my Gold Foil Bertrol Gobson card to level 6 and it gained the Poison ability but lost -1 health. Units with the Poison ability have a 50% chance to apply poisoned on their target after a successful attack. And poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round. Poison ability is really an amazing ability and I love it very much and I can say that it is very useful in battles.

Gladiators are very powerful and help me a lot in battles, they can even help me defeat even my strongest opponents. I can't wait to level them all up and I'm so happy that I leveled up 4 of my gladiator cards today. Today I added 50 copies of gladiator cards to my deck but I really need new copies of almost all gladiator cards so it is more important how many copies I get than which ones I get from the cases. And as I accumulate MERIT, I will continue to buy and open Gladius cases. And as I accumulate MERIT, I will continue to buy and open Gladius cases. By the way, Gladiator cards can only be obtained from Gladius cases and Gladiator cases can be purchased with MERIT and in my opinion the easiest way to earn MERIT is by joining in Brawls so I highly recommend you to join in Brawls and in Brawls you can earn both MERIT(s) as well as staked SPS. Additionally, you can purchase MERIT(s) with Glint from the rewards shop, and MERIT(s) can also be found in loot chests.

The Conclave Arcana pre-sale has begun and there are only 15 days left until the pre-sale ends. New abilities will also be added to the game with Conclave Arcana, and this will also the beginning of a new era, and Conclave Arcanas will be playable in Modern format, but they will be throwing out Chaos Legion units from Modern format. Frankly, I love playing in the Modern format, so I will need Conclave Arcanas a lot. I am eagerly waiting for the time when Conclave Arcana packs will be available to open and new Conclave Arcana cards will be added to the game, and I have no doubt that they will bring a new excitement to the splinterlands game. By the way, there are some great rewards in the pre-sale event, so I think it would be more advantageous for me to purchase Conclave Arcana packs in the pre-sale event. Click to learn more about Conclave Arcana and the pre-sale.
