Arcade Colony Stake House Den: Lady Luck Packs and Hotsauce
Hello Hive Gamers! Arcade Colony continues to roll out new games in its ecosystem. After the exciting Moon Karts racing game, another arcade-like game, Hyper Rail Blaster is in development. A casino-like game called Stake House Den is also in development. I wrote on overview of the game in this post. Today, let's take a deeper look into the Lady Luck Packs and Hotsauce currency.
Lady Luck Packs
Tokenomics
Lady Luck packs contain the game's NFTs. Cards are needed to be staked in game to earn Hotsauce currency (more on this below). There are five cards in each pack with 4% chance of pulling a gold foil card. Like real playing cards, there Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades and Jokers NFTs in Lady Luck Packs, similar to different Splinters in Splinterlands. There will be a total of 54 cards including 2 Jokers similar to real playing cards. As in all Arcade Colony games, users can buy and use flux (Gold & Legendary Flux) to double the chances of receiving Gold Foils or Legendary cards during pack opening. There are also common cards (1-10), rare (Jack, Queen, King), epic (Aces) and legendary (Jokers). There was a presale which ended in January 2025 where 25,000 packs were sold for $2 each pack and there will be a general sale for $4 per pack. For now Lady Luck packs are available in hive-engine.
Card Merging
Similar to other card games (Moon Karts, GLG, Splinterlands) cards can be combined. The regular common cards require more cards (90) to max while regular legendary cards need only nine cards. Of course, gold foil versions need less to max out similar to Splinterlands and other card games.
Hotsauce and Refrigerator
The Hotsauce is similar to Fuel in Moon Karts. Players will need it as a reward multiplier. The more Hotsauce staked, the more rewards. Refrigerator is the same as Vaults in Moon Karts. Players can stake Hotsauce in Refrigerators since Hotsauce production stops at certain levels. Like in Moon Karts where players need to pay Script tokens to claim Fuel, players will also need to burn Script tokens to increase storage capacity of Refrigerators.
