No Wild Pass in the next Wild Format Season
+ My last day of play in the Modern Format with my Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards
In Splinterlands Ranked Play, season 158 is underway and will end in 2 days and 16 hours.
This end of the season will be different than previous seasons because in 20 hours and 26 minutes the General Sale of the new set of Conclave Arcana cards will begin.
With the start of the Conclave Arcana general sale the cards of the Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers sets can no longer be used in the Modern Format and in their place the new Conclave Arcana cards can be used.
In the Wild Format all cards of all sets can be used but in the Wild Format there are bots and there are battle Helpers and there is also a seasonal cost of 2000 DEC to pay which is called Wild Pass.
I have always preferred to play in the Modern Format because I only have fun if I know I am playing with human players like me but from next season I will also play in the Wild Format
Regarding the Wild Format there is an interesting and recent announcement that will make all players who play in the Wild Format happy and will also make me happy because starting next season I will play as always in the Modern Format with my main account but I will also resume playing in the Wild Format with my curation account for SPT tokens.
The recent news is that for next season and only next season the Wild Pass will be deactivated in the Wild Format.
Before the start of the Conclave Arcana General Sale I will try to use all my energy points to play as many battles in the Modern Format with my Chaos Legion cards before I can no longer use them in my favorite format.
In this post I will share a session of mine playing in the Modern Format and I will write this post contextually with my game activity alternating between playing and writing phases.
My starting point before starting my game session is:
- League: Diamond II (Modern Format)
- Rating: 3260
- Available Energy: 50
- My Glint Balance: 31716.8 Glint
- Season End Loot: 46826 Glint
- Rank: 334 (Champion Leaderboard)
- Total Battles: 165
- Total Wins: 82
In Modern Format I play with two accounts (libertycrypto27 and libertygame27) but in this post I show you the game activity of my main account which has the strongest card collection in battles compared to the other account.
With @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format:
- I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of 639 cards = 28135 BCX = 604865 CP = 3189.21$ Market Value (using Market Prices).
- I have a SPS stake = 135.9K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = 85.9K effective
- I do not rent cards from the market and only use cards I own
I start my game session with a battle in which I cannot use magic attack cards.
First Battle: 35 mana available - Battle Rule: Lost Magic.
I don't start my game session in the best way because I lose the first battle.
I alternate wins and losses and play the battles you can see by clicking on the next links.

After 14 battles played I have the first opportunity to advance from the Diamond II league to the Diamond I league.
In battle 15 the battle rules are Shaades Of Gray, Target Practice and Melee Mayhem.
With 59 mana available I choose to use the summoner Grandmaster Rathe while my opponent chooses the summoner Possibilus The Wise.
My strategic choices reward me because I win the battle.
I achieve a rating score = 3400 and enter the Diamond I league.
I receive 24 chests and in the next image you can see what I found inside.
I continue to play more battles.

In the game session I showed you I played 20 battles, won 13 battles with a win rate = 65%.
Compared to the starting point I showed you earlier there were these changes:
- League: Diamond II -> Diamond I.
- Rating: 3260 -> 3440 = +180
- Available Energy: 50 -> 33 = -17
- My Glint Balance: 31716.8 Glint -> 40206.8 Glint = +8490 Glint
- Season End Loot: 44826 Glint -> 55316 Glint = +10490 Glint
- Rank: 334 -> 282 = -52 (Champion Leaderboard)
- Total Battles: 165 -> 1185 = +20
- Total Wins: 82 -> 95 = +13
Thanks to 13 wins in battle today, I earned 79.79 SPS.
79.79 SPS have a value = 3.36 SWAP.HIVE.
Before the exit of the Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards from the Modern Format, I still have 17 hours left and 34 energy available to improve my seasonal results.

I will also try to arrive in the Champion III league although this goal of mine will not be easy to achieve but difficult goals to achieve are often the most fun and the most challenging ;)

Con l'inizio della Conclave Arcana general sale le carte dei set Chaos Legion e Riftwatchers non potranno più essere utilizzate nel Modern Format e al loro posto potranno essere utilizzate le nuove carte Conclave Arcana.
Nel Wild Format possono essere utilizzate tutte le carte di tutti i set ma nel Wild Format ci sono bots e ci sono battle Helpers e c'è anche un costo stagionale di 2000 DEC da pagare che si chiama Wild Pass.
Io ho sempre preferito giocare nel Modern Format perchè mi diverto solo se so di giocare con giocatori umani come me ma dalla prossima stagione giocherò anche nel Wild Format
Riguardo il Wild Format c'è un interessante e recente annuncio che farà felici tutti i giocatori che giocano nel Wild Format e che farà felice anche me perchè dalla prossima stagione giocherò come sempre nel Modern Format con il mio account principale ma riprenderò anche a giocare nel Wild Format con il mio curation account per i token SPT.

Nel Modern Format gioco con due accounts (libertycrypto27 e libertygame27) ma in questo post ti mostro l'attività di gioco del mio account principale che ha la collezione di carte più forte in battaglia rispetto all'altro account.
Con @libertycrypto27 nel Modern Format:
- utilizzo una collezione di carte (di proprietà + soulbound) composta da 639 carte = 28135 BCX = 604865 CP = 3189.21$ Market Value (using Market Prices).
- ho un SPS stake = 134K (-50K delegati a libertygame27) = 84K effettivo
- non noleggio carte dal mercato e utilizzo solo le carte di mia proprietà

Nella 15 battaglia le battle rules sono Shaades Of Gray, Target Practice e Melee Mayhem.
Con 59 mana disponibili scelgo di utilizzare l'evocatore Grandmaster Rathe mentre il mio avversario sceglie l'evocatore Possibilus The Wise.
Le mie scelte strategiche mi premiano perchè vinco la battaglia.
Raggiungo un punteggio di rating = 3400 e entro nella lega Diamond I

Cercherò anche di arrivare nella lega Champion III anche se questo mio obiettivo non sarà facile da raggiungere ma gli obiettivi difficili da raggiungere sono spesso i più divertenti e i più stimolanti ;)

I saved my last battle from the last Modern season with Chaos Legion when I finally made it to Champ 1 with a 4300 rating. I beat someone on 5300 rating. It felt like a nice way to close that chapter and onto the next one! Excited to battle this afternoon!
Congratulations on being in Champion I and winning against a higher rated player is always nice and satisfying.
I will try to get to Champion III but it will not be easy because I have little time left

I made it a priority so I could start battling in Survival mode earlier. But nownwith Survival going offline, I guess it won't matter which league I end up in.
Certo che togliere la fee solo per una season per consentire "a tutti di usare le proprie carte" sa un po' di beffa: in pratica è un'ammissione del fatto che sono consapevoli che per colpa della fee un sacco di persone non possono giocare con le loro carte...

It's a brave choice to continue playing in modern. However, since CL cards are not going to be in modern next season, how do you plan to compete in modern without your CL cards?
So basically after next season the wild pass will be back to wild and the subscription will continue?
