Sharing Splinterlands battle with Arachne Weaver used

Hello all,

Hoping that you are doing fine and got a chance to purchase the new edition packs in Splinterlands.

Me, relatively still new to this game and hasn't got a chance to purchase any packs yet, but will hope to buy few sooner or later and hopefully packs will be left.

It's always exciting to play with new set of cards which will definitely make the playing more fun as they said there will be some new abilities and also game rules introduced.

And moreover, there are 2 new foil types are also being introduced viz. black foil and Arcane foil. While I am yet to explore much on these 2 new foil types, I could read that, the cards with these new foils will be limited in edition and will definitely cost more or I can say will be worth more than other cards.

Hmm, whatever it is, I won't be owning the packs or cards any soon, so, I won't be dreaming off about the new foil types, but will definitely buy few packs in near future.

The reason behind writing this blog is to write about a battle for this week's Social Media Challenge, which is a weekly challenge and I am sharing the battle as shared in below screenshot and I have included link to the battle as well.

As you can see, the battle I am sharing is something with nice amount of Mana cost limit with as much as 48 cost limit and as I am fortunate to have many nice cards delegated to me, I planned to use the monsters as I share the details below and the battle had just one ruleset in the form of What Doesn't Kill You.

The ruleset is all about the melee attack monsters getting additional attack, speed when their main health is attacked by a monster.

The summoner I used for this battle is Cryptic which is a delegated summoner from my introducer @jesterago aka Rob Wilberg and this summoner will induce -1 speed for opponent's monsters and will blindfold by default and as additional abilities, it can either provide retaliate and enfeeble or poison and expose abilities as strategy abilities.

The monsters I used were as below:

1. Grimbardun Fighter:
   Used this as first monster as it is with shield ability and it can attack with 3 melee attack as well. It has 2 armors and 7 health and with enrage ability from the battle ruleset, it can even get additional attack.

2. Pallus:
   Pallus is with reach ability and can attack from second line and just like Grimbardun Fighter, it can also attack with 3 melee attack in each round and it is a flying monster which makes it hard to hit sometimes and already blindfold ability is available from the summoner and that will make it even more harder to hit it.

3. Venka The Vile:
   This is another great monster delegated by Rob and it is with 6 melee attack and can attack from any position inspite of being a melee attack monster because, it has charge ability and it can even pierce the armors and reduce main health.

4. Arachne Weaver:
   This newly introduced rewards card is a savior to regain the health for monsters as it will heal in a corrupted way and can heal all the monsters except itself. it will provide 2 magic attack and that is a big bonus along with corrupted healing ability.

5. Meriput Slinger:
   Not left with many good monsters, I used this ranged attack monster which gives 3 attack and it has impede ability to reduce the speed of the monster it attacks by 1 everytime it attacks.

6. Great Porcupine:
   Last monster is another ranged attack monster and it is with thorn throwing ability to attack back to melee attack monsters and can target sneak ability monsters. It is also with close range ability which makes it attack from first position as well inspite of being a ranged attack monster.
