Stop and smell the roses
These photos were taken in the rose garden at the Chicago Botanical Garden. It was a nice day for a stroll and these girls were dressed in their flowery best!
The Chicago Botanic Garden officially opened to the public in 1972. It began with a small greenhouse and a garden area, but it has grown to 385 acres with 27 display gardens, and four natural habitats. The rose garden is one of the largest public rose gardens in the United States. There are more than 5,000 rosebushes with over 150 varieties, chosen because they are able to thrive in the northern Illinois climate.
Peak season for the roses is in June and again in September. It is recommended to visit early in the morning to get the best fragrance.
The garden is open year-round and is a lovely place to spend time taking photos
. 
Be sure to stop and smell the roses!
Many blossoms were fading but the new rose buds promised another glorious display before winter.

"Stop and smell the roses" is a popular idiom that means to relax and take time out of your busy schedule to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of life. It always seems a good reminder to enjoy life!

The garden looks very beautiful!
But I liked the floral dress the most. I haven't seen them for a long time.
I imagined they were 3 sisters who had decided on appropriate dresses to wear for a visit to the garden. Their flower dresses were perfect.
What an amazing rose bush, so many of them. Each variety has its own charm, but this one blew me away. Every curve of the petal is so captivating, it makes me fall in love🌹

Rose itself is beautiful for its colour and fragrance. And when it comes to variety of colours not to say its difficult to take our glance off. Me too visited a rose garden few months back.
