MONOMAD THURSDAY "BOATING"
Hello Hive Community.
I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge June 18th. The photographs that I have presented in today's post were captured on camera during boating at Bhedaghat. The boating experience here is unparalleled anywhere else. I will make a separate post on this boating experience in which you will get to see the amazing views of the gorges. Along with this, many photographs have also been submitted by the local children jumping into the river from the gorges.
In the first photograph, a child standing on the gorge is pointing at a tourist sitting on a boat. While in the second photograph, you will get to see the gorges of Bhedaghat and the river passing through it. Now here I will give you some information about Bhedaghat. Located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Bhedaghat is a place of mesmerizing natural beauty. Bhedaghat is especially famous for its amazing marble rock formations and dramatic gorges. A boat ride in the Narmada river at Bhedaghat is no less than a surreal experience. Boating in Bhedaghat delights the senses, the memory of which leaves an indelible impression on the heart.
There are many impassable river banks at Bhedaghat. Where children never miss the opportunity to bathe. Here are three photographs of one such ghat. In which children are bathing by taking different types of jumps. In the background, a rocky hill with scattered vegetation rises on it which enhances the natural beauty of the environment. By the way, if I may say so, the weather suggests a warm and sunny day. Which is suitable for outdoor activities like swimming and relaxing by the river.
Jumping into the Narmada river from the Bhedaghat ghat is more than just an adrenaline rush. It is like diving straight into the lap of nature. The moment before jumping is filled with a mixture of excitement and awe. The view from the high place is far-reaching. And looking down at the Narmada river, it looks like a combination of sparkling water, carved rock walls and lush greenery in the distance. I believe that jumping into the river at Bhedaghat is not just an act of adventure. But it is a way to connect deeply with the landscape.
The most iconic feature of Bhedaghat is undoubtedly its magnificent marble gorges. Reaching a height of about 100 feet on both sides of the river, these shining rocks form a narrow valley through which the Narmada flows beautifully. The rocks are mainly made of soft white marble. But from the inside there are lines of black, green and pink. As a result, the marble looks amazing, almost like an unknown world. During the boat ride, the sheer scale of the rocks is amazing.
Looking at the gorges of Bheda Ghat, it seems that it is not only a feast for the eyes. But it is also a testament to geological history. Formed over millions of years, these marble formations have been gradually shaped by the constant flow of the Narmada, one of the oldest rivers of the Indian subcontinent.
As I have said before and will say again, a boat ride through the Bhedaghat Gorges is not just a sightseeing tour. It is a poetic experience. The experience awakens a sense of wonder, peace and respect for nature. If I were to share my experience here, whether visited during the day or in the moonlight, the Bhedaghat Gorges offer one of the most unforgettable natural views in India.
I hope that my post will be accepted for the #monomad challenge June 18th.
