My Quiet Place / 1 // MONOMAD CHALLENGE

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Some places don’t need noise to feel alive. For me, this small mosque near my home is one of those places. Every time I come here, I feel lighter—like my mind finally has room to breathe. I can sit quietly, read a few pages, or simply think without being rushed by the city.

In monochrome, the details speak louder: the patterns on the windows, the lines of the minaret against the sky, the soft light on the carpet, the calm geometry of the space. It reminds me that peace is sometimes just a few steps away—if we know where to look.

I think everyone has a “quiet place” to escape the crowd: a café corner, a garden, a park bench… or a space like this. I’m happy to share mine with you, and I would love to know what yours is.
