Monomad: Crab Habitats Outside the Sea
Since there are so many marine animals that live in saltwater habitats, making a list of marine animal names is too much to count in detail. I am a coastal person who has lived and interacted with the marine environment, beaches, and fishermen since I was a child. That is one of the reasons I like creatures that live in the sea and outside the sea.
Talking about marine animals but not living in the sea, the question will definitely arise, what is meant by marine animals but not living in the sea but still thick with the aroma of the sea. The answer is aquatic animals that live in rivers. Rivers are their own habitat outside the sea, rivers are a mixture of salt water and fresh water that finally meet the ocean. Here various types of animals that live in water and swamps gather, live and become part of an ecosystem that is separate from the sea.
Swamp crabs, for example, are small crabs that only have a body measuring one inch long and less than one inch wide. This creature occupies the swamp area on the banks of the river that connects the estuary to the ocean. These small crabs tend to live more on land than in water. Generally they make nests in the mud, look for food and play there. Almost none of these small crabs go down to the river to look for food.
This is a type of Chela crab which is a type of small crab that has one large claw. The large claw on this crab is not due to a defect but rather the basic shape of its body or innate physique. Actually, there are many types of Chela crabs, including the type of crab with one large claw, and the other is a type of crab with the same claw size, namely both claws have a claw size that matches the size of its body. For Chela crabs with other models, I will discuss them in the next post.
I would like to thank @scrooger, and thank @qurator
