This is something simple... These are some photographs taken by me yesterday morning, Wednesday, August 20th, and the story goes something like this: I woke up like I usually do, around 5:00 AM, and as soon as I left my room and headed out to the small corridor of my house, which is completely open without walls to the front garden, I found the fog practically penetrating in. Then, at that moment, I knew it was inevitable for me to go out and take pictures in the streets, because the fog is a kind accomplice to the street views of the town, turning everything into something mysterious and exquisitely complex... I fed my cats and dogs, prepared a cup of coffee which I drank calmly in the backyard, while a cat that isn't mine appeared on the roof and threw itself down on the ground meowing at my feet as if asking for something to eat... It's an old cat, with white fur and blue eyes, it always comes and I always feed it, we simply call it "Blanco" and he never stays all day at our house. After eating, he thanks me by rubbing himself against my legs, then climbs up a wall and from there onto the roof, and then leaves... While I was doing this sort of "morning ritual with Blanco" the sunlight began to turn the darkness into a white blanket that seemed to cover everything. So I grabbed my camera and went to sthe streets...

Esto es algo simple... Se trata de fotografías hechas por mi en la mañana del ayer miércoles 20 de Agosto y la historia de eso es más o menos así: Desperté como casi siempre, cerca de las 5:00 AM y apenas al salir de mi habitación hacia el pequeño corredor de mi casa, el cual está totalmente abierto sin paredes hacia el jardín de enfrente, me encontré con la niebla prácticamente penetrando hacia adentro, Entonces, en ese momento, supe que era inevitable para mi, salir a hacer fotos en las calles, porque la niebla es una cómplice amable de las visiones callejeras del pueblo, convirtiendo todo en algo misterioso y exquisitamente complejo... Le di de comer a mis gatos y a mis perros, me preparé una tasa de café la cual bebí con cierta calma en el patio trasero, mientras un gato que no es mio se asomaba en el tejado y se lanzaba al suelo maullando a mis pies en actitud de pedir algo para comer... Es un gato viejo, de pelaje blanco y con los ojos azules, siempre viene y siempre le doy de comer, le llamamos simplemente "Blanco" y nunca se queda todo el dia en nuestra casa, después de comer agradece restregándose en mis piernas, sube a una pared y de allí al tejado y luego se se marcha... Mientras hacía esta especie "ritual matutino con Blanco", la luz del sol comenzó a convertir la obscuridad en un manto blanco el cual parecía cubrirlo todo. Entonces tomé mi cámara y me fui a la calle...

I walked along the first few streets without taking any photographs. I simply walked, observing, breathing deeply, and enjoying the solitude typical of days when schools aren't in session here, as we're in the middle of the inter-year vacation period, which will extend approximately until mid-September. But after about forty minutes, people began to appear on the streets. First, a few on foot, then some on bicycles and motorcycles, and finally, a few four-wheeled vehicles on the town's busiest streets, which are those that lead to inter-communal roads that connect with other towns. True to my custom, I took advantage of the fog to remain partially hidden and take some photos, which are the ones I'm sharing here with you on #Hive.

Caminé a lo largo de las primeras calles sin hacer fotografías. Simplemente caminé observando, respirando profundo y disfrutando la soledad típica de los días en los que no hay escuelas funcionando aquí, pues estamos en pleno período de vacaciones inter cursos, el cual se extenderá aproximadamente hasta mediados del mes de Septiembre... Pero después de unos cuarenta minutos comenzaron a aparecer personas en las calles. Primero unos cuantos caminado, luego algunos en bicicletas y motocicletas, y finalmente algunos vehículos de cuatro ruedas en las calles más concurridas del pueblo, que son aquellas que van a dar a vías intercomunales que conectan con otros pueblos... Yo, fiel a mi costumbre, aproveché la niebla para permanecer parcialmente furtivo y hacer algunas fotos, las cuales son estas que estoy compartiendo aquí con ustedes en #Hive...

I wandered for about three hours until the fog began to evaporate under the warmth of the sun's rays. Then, as leisurely as I left the house, I ended up returning with my camera's memory full of those foggy photographs, the ones I love to take so much...

Estuve deambulando durante unas tres horas hasta que la niebla comenzó a ser evaporada por el calor de los rayos solares. Entonces, tan parsimoniosamente como salí de casa, terminé retornando con la memoria de mi cámara repleta de esas fotografías entre nieblas, esas que tanto me gusta hacer...
