The Monument on Petrova Gora β a silent Boulder that preserves our Stories//MONOMAD CHALLENGE
Good Sunday to all of you dear Friends in Black And White Community ππΈ
About ten days ago I was on Petrova Gora, which is about 60 km from my city. I went mostly to take photos of autumn in the forest because it's beautiful there, even though this was my first time there.
Of course, there's always something that pops up as a photo opportunity. Although I've seen that monument in newspaper articles and on the internet, it was wonderful to see it in person.
So, let's go see together that imposing building, but devastated over the years, but first

Although neglected for years, the monument still leaves you breathless. The huge concrete forms emerge from the forest like a futuristic shipwreck. It is said that its interior is just as imposing, although also devastated. I did not go inside the monument because there was one obstacle to entry that I was unable to overcome due to my knees.
In any case, this monument is not just architecture for me β it is a reminder that freedom is never taken for granted.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop Action-Black&White3
And, this is all for Today dear Friends, see you Tomorrow!

It looks like a dystopia.
Can I ask Why? It's true that the monument was created during the former Yugoslavia, specifically in 1981, but I would like to know why you think that.
Wow, what a fascinating place to do black and white photography, and you've certainly taken it to a very high level! Applause!
