MONOMAD 📸 Solidarity for street animals

Greetings to everyone after a long break :)

In this post I will talk about a solidarity event/concert I attended in Istanbul. As I mentioned in my previous post, a very bad animal law in Turkey was passed and enacted despite protests. (https://hive.blog/hive-142159/@altor/our-stray-dog-friends-and)

Under the leadership of some NGOs and associations, a concert and bazaar-like event was organized and all proceeds were donated to the relevant associations to be used for street animals. Here are some shots from the night:

A bazaar was organized on the bottom floor of the bar where the event took place and there were works by about 20 different artists.

In the concert area upstairs, the band Hav Hav! (Woof Woof! in English) appeared first. The 3-piece band played punk, rock and roll songs for about forty minutes. I heard this band for the first time here, they had catchy choruses and powerful guitar riffs. Then No Land took the stage and performed folk rock, alternative rock and ethnic songs. Vocal had a wide repertoire of Turkish, Azerbaijani and Persian. The tempo dropped a bit after Hav Hav! but I think it had a pleasant melancholy. People seemed to enjoy it. No Land is a little known band in Turkey. I used Sony A7SIII camera with Sony 50mm f/1.8 and Samyang 24mm f/2.8 lenses and edited the photos in Adobe Lightroom.
